Mia Thornton from The Real Housewives of Potomac is now calling out fellow newcomer Askale Davis as her friendship feuds spread among the cast. Mia has kicked off her debut season with guns blazing after sparking up quarrels with former newbie Wendy Osefo and OG housewife Gizelle Bryant. What started as Mia being loyal to her friend Karen Hugar soon turned into a series of verbal spats with both Wendy, Gizelle, and Robyn Dixon. With Mia getting off on the wrong foot with a few of the ladies, she has now become public enemy number one only a few episodes into the new season.
Mia was chosen as the replacement for Monique Samuels following Monique's departure after one of the most notorious fights in Housewives history. Monique was known for not backing down from a fight whether it be verbal or physical. Gizelle boasted about the "breath of fresh air" season 6 brought the cast after Monique's departure. But considering Mia's behavior on the first few episodes, it doesn't look like there's been a drop in onscreen drama. With Mia being introduced to the Potomac ladies through the Grand Dame Karen Hugar, she seemingly inherited Karen's pre-existing beef with the "Green-Eyes Bandits" Gizelle and Robyn. Additionally, Mia's plastic surgery comments towards Wendy have them locked in a messy spat.
As a result of Mia's issues with Wendy and Robyn, it has somehow spiraled into an online war with fellow newcomer Askale Davis. In the latest episode, viewers watched as Mia questioned Askale's entrepreneurial endeavors by asking her how many businesses she owned. In the scene, Askale clapped back telling Mia that the assumption she didn't own any businesses was "rude." But their argument carried over to Twitter as Askale live-tweeted about the show. "Let’s not confuse direct with rude," Askale said. "That was VERY rude." But clearly not one to back down from a shade-throwing session, Mia caught wind of the tweet and responded back, "Nice try, 'Friend' -- You were driven on the wrong side. I didn't get to where I am today by being 'Delusional.'" Mia went on to offer the fellow newcomer some advice if she wanted more onscreen action next season. "Roll with the Real Bosses. You'll get more screen time -- no shade."
The snarky clap back was a clear jab at Askale's friend role on the cast as compared to Mia's full-time housewife role. It also shows that Mia isn't afraid of showing off her mean girl side. Askale responded by retweeting Candiace Dillard who mocked Mia by telling viewers to take a drink anytime Mia says "boss."
From the season 6 trailer, clips teased an upcoming fight between Mia and Candiace that has yet to air. It looks like Mia might've mustered up a feud with almost everyone minus Karen. The show isn't even halfway through the season and the ladies are already at each other's necks. Fans have been praising Mia's addition to The Real Housewives of Potomac and she's making sure not to disappoint.
