Khyle Paylor, also known as The Black Socialites, died on Wednesday, November 4, and prior to Khyle’s passing, The Real Housewives of Potomac star Candiace Dilliard wished death upon the blogger in an Instagram video. Candiace starred in two full seasons of RHOP and is known for her ruthless clap backs at haters on social media.
In just three seasons, Candiace has made a big impression on The Real Housewives of Potomac fans. In addition to her ongoing feud with her mother, Candiace is known for her spoiled behavior and numerous social media feuds with haters. However, after reports surfaced about her recent altercation with Monique Samuels, she turned her anger toward Khyle Paylor. Khyle Paylor is known for his "The Black Socialites" blog, which acts as a behind the scenes source for all things The Real Housewives of Potomac. Months before the Monique and Candiace drama unfolded, the blog broke the news of the physical altercation. Khyle was known for his unapologetic opinions. He held nothing back when reporting about incidents on the reality show.
After The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 5 Episode 2, “The Rumor Meal'' aired, Candiace broadcasted live on Instagram, revealing the details of the rumors regarding her alleged cheating. In addition to exposing an RHOP cast plot designed to take down her Real Housewives of Potomac co-star Monique Samuels, Candiace blamed Khyle for spreading lies about her and her family. During one section of her Instagram Live, she calls The Black Socialites an “obese piece of s**t who needs to drop dead” and adds, “when are YOU going to drop dead.” Candiace then accused the DMV blogger of using lies and exaggeration to make a quick dollar. Throughout the live, Candiace slams Khyle’s weight. At one point, she comments, “with bated breath - short of breath, because he can’t breathe, because of all the fat around his heart.” AllAboutTheTea reports that Candiace’s ruthless remarks were not driven by anger, as “she had intimate knowledge of Khyle Paylor’s medical condition and knew he was on dialysis and suffered with health issues.”
Candiace's husband Chris Bassett was also known for his hateful remarks toward the blogger. He routinely fat-shamed Khyle and made homophobic and racist comments towards him. Following Khyle's death, AllAboutThe Tea, Richie Skye, Marcella, Monique Samuels, and RJ Allen streamed live on YouTube to speak about Paylor. With permission from his mother, they explained Khyle's medical struggles, along with the series of events that took place before his death. Watch the video above.
It's possible that Candiace regrets everything she's said about Khyle. She may comment on the situation with him in the future. For now, his fans and family are mourning him.
