Real Housewives of Potomac's Ashley Darby shared her second son Dylan's first steps with her social media following earlier this week. Followers of Darby's Instagram have watched the Housewife's journey of motherhood ever since her and husband Michael welcomed their firstborn child Dean into the world. While the couple has gone through their fair share of marital drama as their lives were documented on the Bravo series, they've made it a point to showcase their growing family on Instagram.
The reality star had to put her family making plans on hold to continue managing her restaurant. Though, she finally gave birth to her first son Dean back in 2019. She later welcomed newborn son Dylan into the Darby family last year, with him turning one year old this March. In October, Darby brought her two sons to the Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live Clubhouse when she appeared with Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Mary Crosby. Viewers of RHOP got to see a pregnant Darby this season while she was steering up drama between Wendy, Gizelle, and Robyn all the while nursing Dylan in her womb.
Ashley's Instagram following got to watch Dylan's first steps when she shared a video this Friday. She documented the momentous occasion on her Instagram Stories, showing the toddler waddled towards her welcoming hand. Baby Dylan was seen sporting a dark green onesie as he walked across the carpet with all sorts of baby toys displayed behind him. Ashley accompanied the triumphant post with a caption reading, "The first steps I got on camera."
This Instagram Story joins the pile of Ashley documenting her journey through parenthood. There is a handful of first-born son Dean-themed posts that the Potomac Housewife has stored within her Highlights. Within her profile, you can see Dylan flying through his father's hands in a Superman onesie, riding his horse roller, and countless videos of him goo-ing at the camera. You can even see Ashley hitting the dance floor with soon-to-be one-year-old Dylan safely strapped to her torso.
Ashley's relationship with Michael has received an onslaught of criticism from both fellow cast mates and fans of RHOP alike. From Michael's dismissal of sexual assault charges from his playful butt grabs to the alleged usage of gay dating app Grindr, the couple has had numerous controversies preceding their newfound family. Though, from the looks of their social media presence, Ashley and Michael are well on their way to fostering a healthy environment for their growing family.
