Carole Radziwill appeared on The Real Housewives of New York City from seasons 5 to 10, and she made an impact as a smart, talented writer who didn't want to get caught up in gossip and meanness. She and Bethenny Frankel became best friends and it was sad for fans to see that they had so many arguments during Carole's final season.

Carole also had some tension with Luann de Lesseps, and fans enjoyed watching the evolution of Carole's friendships along with her relationship with Adam Kenworthy. She also lived in a fabulous apartment and ran a marathon during her time on the reality series. While Carole got involved in many arguments, she was often totally right, and fans rooted for her.

When Aviva Said She Used A Ghostwriter

In season 6 of RHONY, Aviva kept saying that Carole used a ghostwriter for her memoir, which was insulting and offensive. Carole is a journalist with decades of experience and her book What Remains is about the tragic time in her life when her husband died of cancer.

It's definitely mean-spirited to say that someone didn't actually write their books, and it was clear that Carole wasn't thrilled about being in the same social circle as Aviva after this comment.

When Bethenny Got Mad About Adam

In season 10, Bethenny and Carole's friendship seemed to be over, and Bethenny was upset because Carole's ex-boyfriend Adam said no to being the photographer for a mission trip because he wouldn't be getting paid.

Bethenny and Carole were once best friends, so watching these two hurt each other so much was definitely tough, and fans wondered why they seemed to have such bad blood between them during this season.

When She Wanted Some Space

After watching Bethenny for years and hearing her hilarious and tough quotes, viewers know that she can be intimidating. Carole said later about the friendship with Bethenny, "I think I was trying to establish some boundaries at the end and sometimes people don't do well with that. I just wanted...it was just a little too much Bethenny and not enough Carole in the relationship. I didn't blow that relationship up."

It sounds like Carole wanted some space and a break from the friendship, and that makes sense, as it seems like it was intense. Carole was in the right here, as she wanted to advocate for herself.

When She Met Adam At Luann's House And Liked Him

In a season 7 episode, Carole and Adam met when he was a personal chef for Luann. Fans saw them chatting and flirting, and they seemed to have a connection right away.

Luann was upset about this as Adam had been seeing her niece, but it was easy to be on Carole's side here, as that relationship seemed to be over and so Carole and Adam were free to begin dating. Luann shouldn't have talked about this so much and she should have been happy that Carole had found someone.

When She Didn't Want To Have A Serious Conversation Over Text Messages

When Bethenny texted Carole and said, "I miss us. Why are you being so cold?" she said that Carole texted back, "Wow. That's a lot."

This is another time when Carole was in the right, as it makes sense to want to discuss something important in person. Text messages can be tricky as all context is lost and it's easy to upset and offend people.

When Luann Made Fun Of Carole For Dating Someone Younger

Fans didn't like when Luann complained about Carole dating Adam, and it was also mean when Luann made fun of Carole for dating someone younger. This was confusing — why was the age difference such a big deal to her?

Luann said “It’s Sonja-young" and Carole was upset that Luann was talking to her about dating someone younger. Carole said,  “I love Lu, but sometimes, she can be a hypocrite of epic proportion.” It also wasn't nice of Luann to bring Sonja and her dating life into the discussion.

Luann also joked about Carole not having kids and even laughed about it. This was really hurtful to Carole and to anyone who is childfree, and it didn't seem relevant to the fight they were having.

This is another time when Carole was in the right. It's hard to imagine why joking about starting a family or not is ever going to be appropriate.

When She Ran The NYC Marathon To Honor Her Late Husband

Since leaving RHONY, Carole is working in journalism, and during her time on the show, she had some incredible moments.

It was emotional watching Carole run the NYC marathon, and she explained that she did so to honor her late husband Anthony Radziwill, who had also run this historic event. Carole was upset because Ramona had a party after and made it all about her when it should have been Carole's moment. Carole was totally right to want the celebration to focus on her.

Carole told Bethenny, "Every time we’re together you’re kind of aggressive with me and kind of dismissive," and while it was sad that they were both so hurt, it seemed easier to support Carole here.

When She Felt It Was Time To Leave The Show

Bethenny has had some huge arguments and that includes her friendship-ending feud with Carole.

When Carole left RHONY after season 10, she explained that it felt like the right time, and it seems like she was on the right track here. It's hard to stop talking to a good friend and even worse to do that on a reality series that is filming her every move. While viewers loved watching Carole, she had to take care of herself.
