The 64-year-old has been a staple on The Real Housewives of New York and is the only OG still with the franchise. Fans met the blonde during season one and immediately had a love/hate relationship with her. Luann de Lesseps is the second-longest airing housewife in the Big Apple, but she was demoted to a friend of the housewives during Season 6. Singer's personality has been great for years of entertainment but now many fans question if her lack of awareness fits within the cast and premise of the show anymore. Bravo fans have already lost Dorinda Medley and Bethenny Frankel, so the big question remains: Could the franchise take another big hit?
Just days after fans freaked out at the news that Singer was being fired, she took to social media to deny any of the tall tales. Since her debut as the prude of the show, she has changed immensely over the years and now is more of a free spirit. But due to season 13 being a bit of a snooze fest, Singer had has to ramp things up. Bravo fans are aware that Williams has been trying her best to talk about the 2020 Presidential election as well as the Black Lives Matter movement on the show but has been shut down by the Upper West Side resident. There have also been numerous influencers who have shared that Singer asked producers not to talk about race at the reunion. Singer has also been accused of being on the chopping block. With Bravo making big changes to The Real Housewives of Orange County due to poor ratings, it would make sense that RHONY could also do the same.
It was confirmed that the reunion would be pushed back to September due to the cast not being on the same wavelength. As for Singer's fate, no housewife is ever sure if they will be asked back until they receive their contract and sign on the dotted line. While Singer has made for some great TV moments for many viewers, it feels like her time may be coming to an end. Fingers crossed they get Medley back to "make it nice!"
