The Real Housewives of New York's Leah McSweeney is convinced that co-star Sonja Morgan's ugly outfit choice for a fashion show was a passive-aggressive move. Sonja picked out some activewear for Leah to walk the runway in and she's convinced it's equivalent to the horse head in The Godfather film.
The 37-year-old McSweeney was born and bred in New York but never thought she would be at the center of a reality television show. The straight shooter was desperately needed after Frankel walked away from the hit franchise. There have only been four episodes, but fans feel that have gotten to know a bit more about the newest housewife and loved what they saw. She has opened up about a rough youth saying she was sent to a nunnery because her parents would not allow her to come home and how she came to be able to open up her own business after being attacked by the police and suing them. Now McSweeney runs her own fashion line, Married to the Mob.
Hollywood Life shared an exclusive video that showed McSweeney was disturbed by Morgan’s lack of judgment when sending her a complimentary outfit to wear in her fashion show. McSweeney was shocked that she was sent athletic wear. She showed Tinsley Mortimer and becomes more and more convinced that Morgan is acting passive-aggressively. She says, “She’s passive-aggressive.” She continues, “I hate passive-aggressive people.” The outfit looks as if it is pants and sweater combo that is grey and made of wool, very much an older woman’s vibe. Viewers will be able to notice that Mortimer had a very different look, as the rest of the women also did.
McSweeney felt that maybe Morgan is trying to get back at her for the weekend before when she told Morgan to get over her ex-husband. The fashion mogul truly believed that Morgan was trying to send her a message like the horse head in The Godfather, saying, "I think Sonja’s trying to send me some type of message, maybe this is me waking up with a horse head in the bed." Viewers would agree that McSweeney's outfit of choice is a bit over the top for Fashion Week with the glasses Morgan wanted her to wear. Naturally, Mortimer does not think Morgan has a mean bone in her body and tries to defend her friend saying she thinks the trophy wife may have thought McSweeney would look cool in the clothes.
The new episode is set to take place at the runway show for Morgan’s clothing line, Sonja by Sonja Morgan with Mortimer walking as a model. The rest of the housewives will be sitting front row, but McSweeney will not be wearing the outfit in question.
