It appears that Real Housewives of New York newbie, Leah McSweeney, earned her Housewives drama stripes long before making her debut in 2020, during the 12th season of the reality TV hit, RHONY. On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen revived accusations that Leah once shared on her podcast, Improper Etiquette. Those accusations were aimed at Saturday Night Live's Michael Che.

The accusations center around an interaction Leah McSweeney had with Michael Che back in 2016-2017, on a dating app called Raya that many in the entertainment industry utilize. Apparently McSweeney didn't feel Che followed the proper etiquette that one should. She called him out on her podcast, saying he was "rude, arrogant and D-list."

While this text exchange lasted from September 2016 until January 2017, it's been making the rounds again this week. RHONY's Leah McSweeney had this to say about Che back in 2017, as reported by Page Six: "Why are you on a dating app if you hate women? Literally, you’ve never met me and you’re texting me like I’m a stupid bi*ch … texting me and being mad rude. He kept just texting me, going, ‘I’m fat. Does that turn you on?’ And I’m like, ‘You’re fat? I think I’ve seen you and you’re not fat, OK. You’re trying to f–k with me? I don’t get it. You’re just a f–king dork, wearing Air Force Ones (sneakers) at the end of the day. Like, cause you’re sitting up there writing your jokes on a little card, trying to figure out what the f–k."

At that time, Che wasn't going to take this lying down. He defended himself with shared screenshots of his exact text with Leah over the course of 3 months, to reveal his side of how it all went downhill. Bossip dropped the entire text transcript and receipts from back in 2017. The two never actually met in person. They were being socially distant before it was a thing. After viewing the interaction that took place back in 2017, it's not hard to figure out why neither wanted to move forward with this relationship.

We've seen Leah McSweeney bond with fellow RHONY castmate, LuAnn de Lesseps, over their similar pasts. Each has a propensity towards drinking and getting a little extra. Both have actually been arrested due to incidents stemming from their drinking behavior. Now, there's another thing that they can bond over. LuAnn wrote the book, Class With The Countess: How To Live With Elegance and Flair. LuAnn also famously sings that song, "Money Can't Buy You Class". McSweeney still hosts her podcast, Improper Etiquette.

The Real Housewives of New York Season 12 resumes tonight on Bravo TV; it will be interesting to see how the season plays out... and who's taking their own advice.
