The mother of one has no shame when it comes to embarrassing her rude friends. Opinionated Dorinda stole viewers' hearts from the beginning since she often tried to right the world one drink at a time. The reality star prides herself on being a great host and a great friend. She is best known for her amazing one-liners, which have garnered numerous memes and the privilege of being quoted by women everywhere.
Early Tuesday morning, Dorinda revealed that she made the decision to leave The Real Housewives of New York after this season. Fans were devastated, but now have learned from The Daily Mail that the reality star was fired by Bravo. A Bravo insider told the outlet that Bravo fired Dorinda on Tuesday. The production source went on to say, "It’s a big mistake," and that the network will "regret" their decision soon enough. The network broke the news to the reality star only days after her good friend, Jon Giswold, passed away. He was the co-founder of Dorobics.
Dorinda tried to get ahead of the news by announcing it was her decision to leave on her Instagram. The source acknowledged that Dorinda had a tough season, but said she was an undeniable fan favorite who everyone was rooting for. Dorinda was also the only housewife who owned her New York City apartment and a manor in the Berkshires where a lot of drama went down. The source added, "You watch, this is an error that they will regret." In the Bravo personality's goodbye post, she wrote, "What a journey this has been. I have laughed and cried and tried to Make it Nice... But all things must come to an end."
Fans are beyond devastated by the news since only last season they lost Bethenny Frankel. All that is left is Ramona Singer, who frankly has become a monster full of entitlement and mean comments, Luann de Lesseps, who is obsessed with her cabaret, and Sonja Morgan, who we all still love and adore. Even though Dorinda may have been fired, she kept her goodbye upbeat and classy, which matches the woman we have all come to know and love.
The Real Housewives of New York airs Thursday at 9 pm ET on Bravo.
