Teresa Giudice is shutting down all of the rumors The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans have said about her fiance Luis Ruelas. The OG housewife is still reeling over her recent engagement with Luis. He popped the big question while the couple vacationed in Greece. Since going public with the New Jersey businessman, slanderous reports have plagued Luis accusing him of being a narcissist looking for a come-up off of Teresa's fame. But Teresa is finally addressing what people have been speculating about her husband-to-be and she says the rumors are all false.

Teresa's love life has been a hot topic since confirming her relationship with Luis last November. He's the first person Teresa has publicly dated since divorcing from Joe Giudice. With her being married for 20 years and going through a drawn-out breakup process following consecutive jail sentences and Joe's deportation, fans have never got a chance to see her dating life outside of Joe. Teresa is known for her love and loyalty to her family. Even when Joe was filmed mistreating her in the show's early seasons, Teresa stuck by his side until distance put a wedge between them.

Now that she's in love with someone new, Teresa is showing Luis that same love and loyalty. Now that they're engaged, Teresa is ready to clear the air on all the rumors about Luis"I say like, 'Please mind your business,'" Teresa told ET. "You should want someone to be happy, because if you want someone else to be happy, then happiness comes to you." While Teresa's words sound a bit hypocritical to her actions against her co-stars on the show, when it comes to Teresa's love life she's all about peace and happiness. But she can't help but see all of the negative things people say about her fiance on social media. "Like he wants to be on TV. He so does not want to be on TV. It's so not his thing," she quipped. "If anything, he's supporting me, but it's really not his thing."

There have also been claims of Luis orchestrating how he planned to meet Teresa and get her to fall in love with him which Teresa says is "the craziest thing," and explained why. "No, he didn't even know who I was, and he's never been at the Jersey Shore, that was his first time. And it's crazy," she said. Teresa and Luis met on a block in Jersey Shore. It's the same place where she used to go and pray to her late parents asking them to bring her a good man after her divorce. She believes meeting Luis was fate and a gift from up above. Teresa is tired of all the lies and chatter surrounding her relationship and wants to be left alone. The Fabulicious author knows that no matter how hard the critics talk, "they're never going to destroy our happiness, just leave it at that," she declared.

Teresa feels obligated to protect her fiance from all the bad press. As an OG housewife, Teresa has 12 years of experience dealing with the downside of fame. But her fiance, is "new to all this, to public scrutiny, which is sad, and this is not something he signed up for," She noted. "He just signed up for, he met me, we fell in love, and that was it. And I feel bad, so I'll do anything I can to protect him." Teresa is a fierce advocate for anyone she loves. It might be why she outperforms her table-flipping moment in season 12. The Real Housewives of New Jersey is set to return in early 2022. Fans are excited to dig into all that went down when Teresa gets confronted with the rumors about Luis.
