Fans of The Real Housewives of New Jersey always knew there was bad blood between the Gorga and Giudice clan, but no one thought that Joe and Melissa Gorga would skip Teresa Giudice's big day. The Italian family has been at odds since Teresa's little brother agreed to appear on RHONJ many years ago. Neither could find common ground, and it seemed the feud has only become worse.
The two families have had their fair share of issues over the last few years, starting with the two Joe's not liking one another. It seemed both Joe Gorga and Teresa's ex-husband, Joe Giudice, always had a competition going on with one another. Back in 2013, while shooting the show, the two fathers went head-to-head while on the RHONJ cast trip to Lake George. The battle tore the family apart and created animosity. Throughout the years, Joe Gorga has tried his best to move on from the issues that stemmed from Joe Giudice, but it seems that Teresa is all too willing to reignite some family drama when it is convenient for her. Sadly, it looks like the brother and sister are on the outs once again.
Things have only gotten worse for the family as a huge blowout was recorded just days before the wedding while filming for RHONJ season 13. Rumors have been circulating via People that Teresa ultimately "betrayed" the couple as she tried pushing lies about Melissa and Joe's relationship that weren't true. To make matters worse, Luis Ruelas, Teresa's now-husband, reportedly didn't help the situation, and Melissa and Joe finally saw his true colors. Many fans feel it is telling that Teresa didn't have one family member in attendance except for her four daughters: Gia, Gabriella, Audriana, and Milania Giudice.
Fans of RHONJ can't really blame Melissa and Joe for skipping Teresa's wedding last minute since the self-proclaimed queen of New Jersey has done a lot to hurt the couple. Melissa and Joe made loud and not-so-subtle statements when they each posted photos of their family hanging out at their shore house instead of at an East Brunswick wedding hall. Melissa and Joe seemed to agree that they could not support Teresa after she tried to tear down their relationship so many times. Fans have lost count but remember how Teresa spread a rumor about Melissa being a stripper, ruining Melissa and Joe's christening with a battle, and implying Melissa was a gold digger. It makes sense that Melissa and Joe would want to distance themselves from someone who never supported their relationship.
While The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 will probably be filled with drama, it looks like it may have ruined Melissa and Joe's relationship with Teresa. She has been toxic in their lives since they got married, but the couple still tried to make it work. Now, it looks like the only way the couple can move on is to possibly cut Teresa out for good.
