The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Margaret Josephs has called out Teresa Giudice for having a quick-tempered demeanor following Teresa's reaction to comments made about Luis Ruelas. While Teresa was previously married to Joe Giudice, Luis is now Teresa's fiancé. There has been a good bit of tension between Margaret and Teresa during season 12, and now, Margaret elaborates on the straw that may have broken the camel's back in regards to an argument between the two.

Teresa, most well known for her iconic table-flip in the early 2000s, first appeared on The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 1. Joe and Teresa were married for two decades before calling it quits in 2019.  In 2013, the couple was indicted for tax fraud and were both sent to federal prison. Teresa served less than a year while Joe's sentence lasted almost four years. Joe was then deported to Italy. Recently, Teresa began seeing Luis and the two were engaged shortly after. Margaret first appeared on The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 8 and befriended Teresa. Things became especially sour when Teresa was upset by Margaret's treatment of Luis.

On Us Weekly's "Getting Real with the Housewives" Margaret explains that she understands Teresa is mad at her, saying "she’s not too happy with the Marge." The Macbeth Collection founder feels that while her comments about Luis may have upset Teresa, she was simply trying to tell it like it is. "I think I am very honest with the way I feel about certain things," Margaret states. Margaret notes that Teresa doesn't often appreciate criticism from Margaret, saying "Teresa doesn’t always like to hear that from me and she gets upset..." Margaret adds that relationships are an especially touchy topic for Teresa who, between the prison sentence, cheating scandal, and subsequent divorce, has already been through a great deal of heartache with her ex-husband Joe. "Obviously, it’s pertaining to her relationship. She gets very mad, and you know, she’s got a hot temper,” says Margaret.

Additionally, Margaret states that the reason she spoke the way she did about Luis is that she cares about Teresa's best interest, saying "if you truly care about someone and truly like someone it’s important to be honest with them." She elaborates, saying that she's not one to just go along with a narrative to make others happy. She also stresses the importance of honesty in friendships, saying "I’m not a yes woman, you know, at my age, I don’t have to ‘yes’ anybody to death. My best friends in the world — you have to be honest with everybody."

While Margaret seems to be understanding of the way she hurt Teresa, as well as the reason why Teresa reacted the way she did, Teresa's behavior towards Margaret on The Real Housewives of New Jersey doesn't exactly point to a reconciliation between the two. Margaret seems to be aware of her ability to set Teresa off and despite her saying that she cares for Teresa, her willingness to be honest at times that may not be appropriate seems to be more connected with how Margaret views herself than anything else. Still, honesty is an admirable trait to attempt to keep when it can be expected to trigger a severe reaction. If Margaret really does care about Teresa, hopefully, the two can come to an understanding.
