Fans have watched the sibling rivalry between Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga on The Real Housewives of New Jersey for years, and Joe recently shared that he still thinks Teresa doesn’t stick up for him. Overall, Teresa and Joe have had many years of bad blood between them, which fans saw play out on RHONJ season 3 when there was an all-out brawl at the christening of Joe and Melissa Gorga’s son. Teresa and Joe tried to make amends on RHONJ season 5, but Joe called Teresa “sc*m,” which resulted in another physical fight between the two Joes.

Over the years, Joe and Teresa have tried to mend their relationship. However, when Teresa went to prison for fraud, their whole family took a hit. Sadly, their parents died shortly after Teresa was released and Joe blamed Joe Giudice for putting their parents through such a stressful time. Joe Giudice claimed that Joe Gorga had treated his parents poorly in the past and accused him of losing their house due to loan default and didn’t help out when his mother was sick. Teresa threw her brother Joe under the bus when she admitted on the RHONJ season 11 reunion he didn’t come around as often as he should have.

The bad blood between Teresa and Joe keeps rearing its ugly head on RHONJ season 12. In a recent episode, Melissa and fellow housewife Jennifer Aydin got into a heated argument that almost turned physical. Melissa brought up the fact that Jennifer called the Gorgas a “crook” and when Joe chimed in, Jennifer called him a “little b**** girl.” Teresa watched the scene unfold but did nothing to step in and defend Joe, even as Jennifer kicked them out of her house. On the RHONJ: After Show, Joe shared, “I always have her back. It’s never reciprocated. If that was me and let’s say Margaret [Josephs] threw my sister out of the house... I would’ve never heard the end of it.”

Melissa agreed that there is a double standard when it comes to Teresa, noting that she and Joe are always expected to back her up. Alas, Joe questioned Teresa’s loyalty to Jennifer and posed the question, “If Jen called my father a crook, would my sister talk to her? Think about that. Or if she called my mom a crook, I wonder how she would react.” Joe added that he feels like his family treats him like “the dishrag” and if he says one thing, “it’s the end of the world.”

When Joe tried to point out to Teresa that Jennifer was “evil” by talking about Joe’s character, Teresa defended Melissa. In turn, Melissa pointed out that Teresa was friends with other women on the show, such as Kim D., and they turned out not to be “good people.” Joe admitted that Teresa likes attention and Jennifer “kisses her a**,” so he thinks that Teresa looks the other way when it comes to Jennifer. Joe emphasized that family should back each other up but unfortunately, Joe still feels like Teresa chose The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jennifer over him.
