In a recent episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 12, Jennifer Aydin and fellow RHONJ housewife got into a physical altercation, and Jennifer was upset that her husband, Bill Aydin, didn't have her back. The RHONJ women and their husbands went to Jennifer and Bill’s Jersey Shore home for a barbecue, and things were already tense before, as Teresa Giudice had left in a huff due to rumors about her fiancé Luis Ruelas. When she returned, the ladies tried to address why she left, but things went south when they started pointing fingers at Jennifer for stirring up trouble.
Later in the evening, costar Margaret Josephs called out Jennifer for trying to dig up dirt on fellow costar Jackie Goldschneider’s husband, Evan Goldschneider. Margaret also thought Jennifer was a hypocrite for accusing her of cheating on her ex-husband Jan Josephs when it was revealed that Bill had cheated on Jennifer years ago. Teresa chimed in to defend Jennifer, but Melissa jumped in to ask why it was okay for Jennifer can pry into other people’s business, but it was not okay for them to ask about Luis’ Warrior Camp video. Melissa started yelling at Jennifer for calling her husband Joe Gorga a “crook” on social media. Jennifer responded by calling Joe a “little b**** girl,” which had Melissa seeing red.
Fans were shocked when Melissa and Jennifer almost got into a physical fight with each other. Melissa got up to leave but she and Jennifer came face-to-face and had to be pulled apart. Bill remained quiet during the whole verbal throw-down and didn’t make a move to help his wife out during the fight with Melissa. In the next episode, Jennifer had a chat with fellow costar Dolores Catania, who was also there for the fight. Jennifer expressed that she was mad at Bill for not having her back when the other ladies were ganging up on her. She called him a “F****** p****” who didn’t say “a word all night.” Jennifer complained, “He just stood there and said nothing. It’s just – I would have liked something.”
Jennifer told Dolores how she put Bill on a pedestal for so many years and expected him to at least say, “With all due respect, if you disrespect my wife, you disrespect me.” She expressed how he betrayed her once by having an affair, and now she felt betrayed all over again. Dolores, who was also cheated on by her ex-husband Frank Catania, understood how Jennifer was feeling. She suggested that perhaps Jennifer wasn’t over the betrayal and that her feelings are carrying over to the rest of the RHONJ cast members. Jennifer tearfully told Dolores, “I know, but I don’t know how to deal with it.”
Jennifer later admitted that filming RHONJ season 12 was “agony” due to dealing with Bill’s affair in the public eye. The most difficult thing for her was having to explain to her young children about what had happened so many years ago. Despite having to relive such a painful time in her life, Jennifer shared that the experience was cathartic and allowed her and Bill to mend their relationship. Fans applaud Jennifer and Bill for keeping their family together, and Jennifer told viewers that she’s glad she stayed and forgave Bill.
