Teresa and Jacqueline went from being best friends in The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 1 to hating each other by the time the latter jumped ship in season 6. She and Teresa have kept their distance since Jacqueline's RHONJ exit. But now with Teresa at odds with her brother and sister-in-law, Jacqueline is calling out Melissa Gorga for allegedly orchestrating her messy fallout with Teresa years ago. Jacqueline recently held a Q&A on Instagram where a fan asked her if Melissa is a "liar," and she didn't hold back.
“Well, let’s just say that she was really good at lying while keeping a straight face and very good at manipulating people,” Jacqueline wrote in the post, a screenshot of which was captured by Reddit user u/witchvvitchsandwich. She went on to accuse Melissa and Joe of "manipulating" her view of Teresa by “telling me secrets about Teresa, things Teresa would say and do to them, and telling me things Teresa would say behind my back."
Jacqueline Claims Melissa Called Caroline 'Old'
In another post, Jacqueline responded to a fan who asked about Melissa's friendship with Caroline Manzo, a Real Housewives of New Jersey OG and the sister of Jacqueline's husband, Chris Laurita. According to Jacqueline, Melissa has only become "friendly acquaintances" with Caroline amid rumors of her return to RHONJ. Jacqueline doesn't think Melissa really cares to be friends with Caroline since she “always used to say Caroline was too old and boring for the show." Fans are now speculating about the possibility of Teresa and Jacqueline becoming friends again to team up and put the Gorgas' alleged manipulation on blast. "I smell a Teresa and Jacqueline reconciliation," one Redditor wrote.
