Based on the store's current inventory, there are garments to suit different tastes. While there will always be housewives who try to sell Bravo fans a gimmick, the Envy employees are reported to be genuinely helpful when serving the needs of clients.
Envy by Melissa Gorga was at the center of a scandal in its early years. In 2018, customers complained to Melissa that their requests for refunds had gone unanswered, after they discovered that there was no authentic Chanel in the Montclair, New Jersey store. The mother of three later revealed on her Instagram that her shop had been unknowingly selling counterfeit merchandise. In the post, Melissa explained that a representative from Chanel had been in contact, and informed her that she was not selling reputable items made by the famous French fashion house.
Envy is a "housewives" shop that is not to be missed.
