Bethenny Frankel from The Real Housewives of New York City agrees with Andy Cohen that The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice needs to sign a prenup when she marries Luis Ruelas. When Bethenny married Jason Hoppy, she didn't sign a prenup, and she had one of the most tumultuous divorces in history. The reality star married Jason in 2010 after only a couple of years of dating.

The two welcomed their daughter Bryn in 2010 as well, and Bethenny thought she finally had the family she's always wanted. However, the couple split in 2012 after less than three years of marriage. Bethenny quickly discovered that Jason was not the nice guy he presented to her when they first started dating and knew she had to end the relationship for the sake of her daughter. After almost nine years of court hearings and negotiations, Bethenny and Jason were finally divorced in 2021.

On Thursday, Bethenny tweeted that she "may jump through my phone if @Teresa_Giudice doesn’t sign a prenup." Bethenny has been through so much in her divorce with Jason, and only wants Teresa to protect the assets she has. If she could go back in time and sign a prenup with Jason, she definitely would. In the past, Bethenny has even urged her fans to sign prenups if they ever plan to get married. Before her marriage to Jason, the mother of one was always "embarrassed" and "uncomfortable" when the word was mentioned. "If I had known that getting into marriage is the same as getting into business together with a business partner, my eyes would have been more open," Bethenny, who has a new custody agreement, admitted during her Just B podcast in December 2021.

Andy Cohen and Teresa Giudice from RHONJ

The former RHONY star sent the tweet after the Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen interview Teresa did Tuesday night after the premiere of RHONJ season 12. Teresa shocked both Andy and fans this week when she revealed she and fiancé Luis have no plans to sign a prenup. "No," Teresa responded to Andy, who asked about it. "I mean I don't know." The 49-year-old's eldest daughter Gia Giudice, who was the bartender for the evening, chimed in, asking why would her mother want to sign one. "Why wouldn’t she sign a prenup," Andy responded to the 20-year-old. “Why wouldn’t she sign a prenup to protect what she has and to protect what he has." Andy continued to encourage the prenup, claiming it's better to get things in writing so there are no issues in the future. While Andy knows neither Teresa nor Luis would try to take anything from each other, it is always better to have a legal document to ensure everyone's assets are safe.

Bethenny is only trying to offer Teresa advice after the relentless divorce she had been through for the last nine years. Similar to Luis, Jason was not in the public eye and may feel differently about their relationship in the future. Nobody knows the hells of divorce better than Bethenny.
