Lisa and Lenny Hochstein started on The Real Housewives of Miami early in their marriage, and though it hasn't always been easy, they've seemed to overcome their obstacles repeatedly. Lisa is known as the Barbie princess of Star Island. Known for her beauty and playing peacemaker, it's hard not to like Lisa.

Her beauty and political maneuvering earned her a spot on the RHOM reboot as a full-time cast member. However, when it comes to her marriage to Lenny, everything isn't as perfect. At the beginning of RHOM, back in 2013, Lenny and Lisa struggled to conceive a child.

This put a significant strain on her marriage to Lenny, who was already older and got married with the intention of procreating. Lisa did work as a model with appearances in Playboy before she met Lenny; however, by the time she started filming RHOM, Lisa was no longer working. Her identity as a wife was a huge part of her, along with her need to become a mom.

Lisa and Lenny Get Married

The RHOM couple got married on October 24, 2009, after years of dating. Lisa was only 26-years-old, while Lenny was 42-years-old. The pair were hoping, shortly after their wedding, they would have become pregnant, but it took them a lot longer to conceive than they had wanted.

Lisa Joins RHOM

Lisa joined RHOM season 2, where she spoke openly about her and Lenny's struggles to conceive. After exploring every avenue of conceiving naturally, the couple moved to in vitro fertilization. However, Lisa still suffered multiple miscarriages to her and Lenny's heartbreak and disappointment. Lenny was determined to have a child, and Lisa felt like a failure for being unable to carry a baby to term. Making things worse, Lenny's parents frequently brought up the subject during their visits, subliminally putting Lisa's ovaries on trial. On a trip to Bimini on RHOM season 2, Lisa opened up to Leah Black about how discouraging the journey to conceive had been. At Adriana De Moura's wedding, Lenny abandoned Lisa out of frustration with the languid pace of the event. However, at the end of season 3, Lenny and Lisa were repairing their marriage. At RHOM costar Joanna Krupa's wedding, Lisa revealed that she and Lenny had found a surrogate and were moving forward with having a baby.

Lisa & Lenny Conceive

In 2015, a couple of years after RHOM was put on hiatus, Lisa and Lenny announced they had welcomed a baby boy, Logan, via surrogate. Four years later, the couple welcomed their daughter, Ella, via surrogate as well. When RHOM returned in 2021 for season 4, fans found Lisa poolside in her palm-printed robe, asking her son Logan to stop squirting her with his super soaker. It's amazing to see Lenny and Lisa finally with their kids though Lisa acknowledged it's not easy, especially with Lenny's packed schedule as a plastic surgeon. However, when Lisa asked Lenny how he was doing, there seemed to be some subtle imperfections. While he said, things were better than ever when Lisa joked, "You'll keep me around?" Lenny answered, "Yeah, I'll keep the cow."

Lisa & Lenny Divorce

Lisa admitted in her interview that before having their kids, they almost got a divorce. Lisa added, "during this separation, Lenny had this emotional affair with some 2 dollar ho [...] but Lenny does not give up easily at all, so when he saw that I was serious and I was done, he came groveling back," and "it was the best decision of his life." Despite being the picture-perfect family, Lenny revealed Monday to Page Six that he and Lisa are getting divorced. Then footage of Lenny out on the town with another woman was leaked by Vince Nguyen on Tik Tok.

Even though 2022 was the end of Lisa and Lenny for good, it opens a whole new door for Miami's iconic Barbie princess to start a new chapter on The Real Housewives of Miami. If one thing is clear, with Lisa's big heart, big closet, and endless beauty, she deserves a love as special as her.
