Lisa Hochstein's The Real Housewives of Miami co-stars reacted to her estranged husband Lenny Hochstein's hot mic rant about her. Fans and RHOM stars were shocked when Lenny, 56, was heard whispering to his friend, Vito, who recently became single, in the fourth episode of RHOM season 5. Lenny told Vito he might also be single in a couple of months. Vito pressed Lenny about his issues with Lisa. The plastic surgeon then lamented that the situation was the same as before. Lenny was overheard talking about Lisa's mental state. He said, "I do anything I want, whenever I want, and you stay home and go to work and come back.'' When Vito remarked that he didn't want Lenny and Lisa to split, Lenny retorted, "I do."
Lisa's RHOM co-stars lined up in her defense following Lenny's hot mic rant. In a chat with Page Six, Guerdy Abraira described Lenny's rant as being incredibly low and cowardly. She added, "Don't tag anybody along, don't make anyone feel or look crazy out there. The fact that she is clapping [and saying], 'We're great,' it's just...so, so sad." Guerdy further stressed that Lenny should have been forthright with Lisa about his desire to end their marriage. She concluded that Lisa didn't deserve how everything went down. Another portion of the rant scene also showed Lenny revealing that he hadn't been intimate with Lisa because it would mean he was cheating on someone he really cared about. The assertion presumably referred to Lenny's model girlfriend, Katharina Mazepa, whom he previously insisted he met after deciding to split from Lisa. However, Adriana de Moura said it was horrible for Lenny to do that when he hadn't yet ended his marriage to Lisa. She added that it was hurtful when one's husband didn't want to be with her because he was with somebody else.

Meanwhile, Alexa Echevarria admitted to being disturbed by Lenny's hot mic comments, so much that she found it hard to sleep. She said she was shocked Lisa was living through the situation while Lenny was planning to break up the whole time. Alexa added that she found Lenny's rant particularly hard to hear because she once considered him a friend. Marysol Patton also commented on the rant, noting that she and the rest of the RHOM gals were disappointed by Lenny's behavior during the early stages of his and Lisa's split. She said, "He didn't handle things in a sensitive and appropriate way, before adding, "I think that everybody's just disappointed in the way he handled things and treated Lisa in the end."
Lenny's hot mic rant shows he left Lisa blindsided with his decision to file for divorce in May 2022. He was never straightforward with her, and her RHOM co-stars are right to criticize him. Lisa always maintained her desire to save her marriage as she boasted on RHOM that Lenny's mother said, "Hochsteins never divorce." However, she needs to realize that she is dealing with a man who doesn't want her and learn to let go of their union. Lenny's disrespectful and cowardly actions toward her showed the kind of person he is, and she really didn't deserve that.
Besides criticizing Lenny, Lisa's RHOM co-stars and friends must also be there for her and support her as she is going through a difficult period. Despite putting up a brave face, it is likely Lisa is breaking down internally. Hence, she must be reminded of how much of a lovely person she is and be shown all the love and care she deserves. Lisa's fans have continually supported her and will do so much more than ever in light of recent developments. Hopefully, the RHOM star will overcome this difficult phase and find true love and happiness.
