Fans of The Real Housewives of Miami had some big reactions to the shocking and dazzling season 4 reunion. After almost a decade of hiatus, RHOM was resurrected from the ashes for a fourth season with triumphant results. Friendships formed, Russian shots were inhaled at nauseam, and drama unfurled with the type of bravado only Miami could muster. Between Larsa Pippen's very lucrative OnlyFans debut, Marysol Patton's bedazzled tumbler, and Julia Lemigova's goat Elvis, the magic was in the details for fans of this charming reboot.

However, it wasn't all smiles in the sunshine state. At the RHOM reunion, Alexia Echevarria addressed the loss of her mother and the since dropped domestic violence charges against her son Peter Rosello. Julia gave more details on the mysterious death of her son Maximellien who passed away from shaken-baby syndrome. She revealed that he was under the care of a nanny hired by his father, Edouard Stern, and the nanny fled the day after the baby's passing. What audiences may not have known before the reunion is that Edouard's lover, Cécile Brossard, shot him while covered head to toe in a latex suit. Needless to say, the alarming details of Julia's story overshadowed Nicole Martin's engagement and Larsa's supposed lack of a Brazilian butt lift.

Popular Housewives fan account, Queens of Bravo agreed, tweeting, "One of the most gripping reunion moments was Julia telling the story about her involvement with Édouard Stern and Cécile Brossard. Full-on chills!" Rarely has a housewife's real-life backstory been more dramatic and alarming than any content on the show. Julia and Martina Navratilova aren't just the first lesbian married Housewives couple but one of the most interesting couples by far. Fans also felt that Alexia was making excuses for the assault charges against her son Peter, first from a homeless man in 2012 and most recently his ex-girlfriend. Alexia denied Peter's guilt in the latest assault charges and said of the 2012 incident that "his brother was dying in the hospital" and "he couldn't deal with almost losing his brother." Penny Madashell tweeted, "Alexia makes too many damn excuses for that son of hers." Chatterbox Keirn joked, "Alexia: I have the most dramatic life. Julia: hold my mojito."

There was also endless applause for Dr. Nicole. Fans commended her speech about respecting the different ways to start a family and her knack for holding her own. Ramonas Left Eye also noted that "It's such a solid flex that Nicole is an anesthesiologist... it's pretty much the highest paying job there is." With the ability to command a room and run an operating room, fans were also ready to laugh at Nicole's jokes. Bravo's Prison Pipeline wrote, "Whew! Dr. Nicole said Larsa Pippen's resume is who she marries and how many children she procreates!" Nicole couldn't help but roast Larsa after she tried to defend throwing shade at Nicole for having children out of wedlock. Last but not least, users noted the absence of Kiki Barth. Real Housewives Ranked said they should have "acknowledged her." The lack of mention of Kiki came off as a major oversight.

Overall the reunion was off to a resounding success. Guerdy Abraira teased a theatrical reunion and wasn't lying. The Real Housewives of Miami reunion will only span two episodes without the layered toxicity of longer-running shows or any pending lawsuits. However, fans might get a four-part reunion for season five if Adriana De Moura and Larsa's tension unfurls further.
