Summary

  • The Real Housewives of DC was not renewed for a second season due to Michaele Salahi's White House scandal.
  • Mary Amons is now a designer and philanthropist, while Lynda Erkiletian works in the fashion industry.
  • Cat Ommanney shared details of her personal life, including a brief relationship with Prince Harry.

Since the swift and scandalous cancelation of The Real Housewives of DC in 2010, the five first housewives of the nation's capital have reinvented themselves. Although Andy Cohen admitted he wanted to renew RHODC for a second season, housewife Michaele Salahi crashing the 2009 White House State Dinner wrecked any chance for the series to get a follow-up season. While fans hope for a Real Housewives of DC reboot, the original DC housewives are not holding their breath and have moved on to exciting new lives.

The cast of RHODC was made up of five housewives: Mary Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Cat Ommanney, Stacie Scott Turner, and Michaele Salahi. Due to the fallout of Michaele and her then-husband Tareq's uninvited attendance at Barack Obama's State Dinner in honor of India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, these housewives were robbed of the reality star treatment veteran Housewives, such as Nene Leakes, Ramona Singer, and Teresa Giudice, have enjoyed. Here's what they've been up to since the show was canceled in 2010 and Peacock started streaming it in 2024.
