Former The Real Housewives of Orange County star Kelly Dodd clapped back at Andy Cohen claiming she knows how ratings work after he said the reboot is doing just fine. Kelly was fired from the show after its 15th season for her bad behavior and controversial comments about the COVID-19 pandemic. Some fans of the show even vowed to boycott season 15 until Bravo fired her. When cameras weren't rolling, Kelly made statements that the pandemic was the God's way of getting the population under control and she was frequently seen in public without a mask. She also made comments mocking the Black Lives Matter movement, even wearing a hat that read "drunk wives matter" at her bachelorette party. Fans were also upset she decided to have a maskless wedding during quarantine.

One of Kelly's biggest rivals during her time on the show was Heather Dubrow, who chose to leave the show after Kelly's first season. Heather felt as if with Kelly on the cast, the show was starting to move towards a direction she wasn't comfortable with. After she left the show, Kelly could not keep her name out of her mouth and would often speak about how much she hated running into her around town. With Heather back on the show this season, Kelly has started speaking about her again. In a recent interview with Andy Cohen, Heather said she doesn't know if she should feel complimented that she's all Kelly can think about, or feel sorry for Kelly for not being able to move on.

Kelly is now involved in a feud with her former boss Andy as the two discuss the ratings of the newest season of RHOC. As reported by Reality Blurb, Kelly tweeted about the ratings a second time and still holds onto the claim that the show did better with her on it. When her first attempt at trashing the new season, which is being referred to as a reboot season, didn't work, Kelly tried again, claiming Andy doesn't need to explain ratings to her because she already knows how they work. She continued by saying she compared the overnight ratings of both season 15, which she was on, and season 16 and found that the season with her on it performed better every week. Referring to Andy's claims that delayed viewing would boost this season's ratings, Kelly said if the delayed ratings were added to season 15 as well her season would still have higher numbers.

Earlier this week, Kelly took to Twitter asking why the current season of the show is doing worse than when she was on considering the network thought the previously low ratings were because of her. She said her season managed to outperform the current season even during an election year where news is the primary thing people are watching. Andy decided to respond by assuring Kelly that the reboot is doing great and told her to wait for the delayed numbers to come out, because that is what matters. When others chimed in to tell Kelly she should keep quiet because she doesn't know how ratings worked, Kelly posted a meme calling the person a dummy saying her husband worked in television for over 30 years so she actually knows what she's talking about.

The question on everyone's mind is whether or not Kelly will ever be able to leave her The Real Housewives of Orange County days behind her. It will be interesting to see what her next venture will be considering she can't seem to let go of her past as a reality TV star.
