Fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County were thrilled when it was announced last week that beloved alum Heather Dubrow would be returning to the show for Season 16. Chic, smart, and outrageously wealthy, Heather, also known as "Fancy Pants," was the definition of a classic Orange County housewife. While there is no doubt there will be many iconic moments to add to this list after Heather officially makes her return to reality television, it's time to relieve some of fans' favorite Heather moments to date.
Ireland Bus Ride
Heather's fifth most memorable moment is the RHOC Season 11 Ireland bus ride. This scene was the stuff of nightmares, filmed in grainy, green night vision as the women were driven to the airport after a long night of drinking. When Kelly Dodd started revealing the other women's secrets, Heather had enough, telling Kelly, "Nothing you will say will hurt me because you are TRASH." Heather's coiffed, well-mannered facade had finally cracked.
Sushi Night Fight
Coming in at number four is another Season 11 moment, this one taking place at a sushi restaurant during a party held for Meghan King Edmonds before she underwent IVF. Kelly Dodd called Shannon Beador a see-you-next-Tuesday, which did not sit well with Heather. Heather got up from the table, pointed her finger at the other women like a scolding schoolteacher, and in a glorious display of fourth-wall-breaking screamed, "I am NOT doing this. This is NOT okay. This is low-base bullsh*t!" This moment even leads Heather to swear off a return to the show while Kelly Dodd was still on.
Malibu Country
At number three is the Season 8 Malibu Country debacle. Heather Dubrow was once a working actress, a title she was very proud of flaunting to the other women. When Heather lands a guest role on the sitcom Malibu Country, she's thrilled to finally be dipping her toes back in the acting world. However, the wind is quickly taken out of her sails when she realizes fellow Housewives Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino were also offered roles on the show. Heather maintains her composure, letting the other two housewives know that they're no competition for a seasoned pro.
Heather vs. Shannon
Taking the number two spot is Heather vs. Shannon, a feud that raged through much of Season 9. The showdown takes place in Heather's rental home, with Heather requesting an apology from Shannon for calling her condescending and rude. Shannon refuses and begins to get emotional, which Heather responds to stoically. Delivering the final nail in the argument with an absolute ice-cold delivery, Heather says, "My children are in the house; please leave. I'm. Asking. You. To. Leave." Heather left Shannon, and the viewers, reeling. The best part is Heather's husband, Terry Dubrow, who has his own reality show, watched the action unfold in the background.
Bow-gate
The number one moment is the hilarious cake debacle from Season 7, which was Heather's first on the show. "Uninvited" guest Sarah takes a bite off the fondant bow topping the elaborate, expensive cake Heather purchased for her "name change" party. Heather rips Sarah to shreds, dismissing her bow-eating move as "classless" and "disgusting," before having Sarah removed from the party. It was the cherry on top of Heather's first season, establishing herself as a powerful authority you don't want to mess with or steal any cake from.
While a lot about the next season of The Real Housewives of Orange County remains up in the air, fans couldn't be more excited to see Heather Dubrow return to the show. It looks like the other returning cast members will really have to bring it in order to stand out.
