Braunwyn Windham-Burke from The Real Housewives of Orange County has made it clear that she has no plans to divorce Sean after coming out as gay.

Bravo viewers thought they had learned all of the OC housewife's secrets when she revealed on the season premiere that she was an alcoholic. She subsequently went on to blame her husband Sean Burke for enabling her alcoholism. Fans are currently watching Braunwyn fall out with the rest of the women and wondering just how hard this RHOC season will be for her. Fans already know that Kelly Dodd is out to "eat her alive" at the reunion, and the rest of the women are not on speaking terms with her.

Just last week, the Bravo star opened up about her sexuality in an interview with GLAAD and officially became the first openly gay housewife. Braunwyn is embracing her genuine self. She's leaving no stone unturned as she makes it her mission to inspire others to feel safe enough to do the same. See Braunwyn and Sean's family Christmas photo below:

During her interview, Braunwyn proclaimed, "I like women. I'm gay," she said. "I'm a member of the LGBTQ+ community. It has taken me 42 years to say that but I am so proud of where I am right now. I'm so happy where I am. To be able to be comfortable in my own skin after so long is just so nice." However, fans were wondering what would happen between Braunwyn and her longtime husband Sean, who helped her hide her addiction to alcohol for so many years. Fans were aware that the couple had an open relationship at one point and, during their separation, dated other people. RHOC viewers wondered if he was going to stick by her knowing that he lost his lover. Apparently, he is. The couple has no actual plans for a divorce. They have been married for 20 years, but she did say, "But I'm not attracted to men, and I never have been."

The RHOC couple is living together again and will continue to raise their children together. While the couple is undoubtedly in uncharted territories, supporters are hoping for the best possible outcome. Hopefully, the two can learn to embrace change and enjoy a happier future in the long run.
