Teddi Mellencamp should not make an appearance on season 11 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Mellencamp was only on the show for a few seasons when she was fired after season 10. However, she'll be making a surprise cameo in the show's current season, which is one of the worst decisions Bravo could make.

Mellencamp was a boring cast member for her duration on the show, which was a part of the reason she did not last very long. The main problem with Mellencamp is that she was never genuine and honest on RHOBH. There are two things fans want from a housewife on the show: authenticity and drama. Mellencamp lacked in both of those areas. It seemed as though she put on an act that she is an honest person who doesn’t like drama. However, those who watched season 9 will remember Mellencamp's participation with Lisa Vanderpump in the controversial “puppygate," which exposed her true nature.

While Mellencamp’s role in Vanderpump’s exit from the show was bad enough, her real downfall was during season 10, when she turned on Denise Richards after Richards was accused of having an affair with former cast member Brandi Glanville. Mellencamp was already an unlikeable cast member at this point, and her turning on Richards and shaming her for no reason other than to get attention didn’t sit well with viewers. While she wasn’t the only cast member to come after Richards, somehow it just seemed worse to see this behavior from Mellencamp. She tried to convince viewers that she was someone to root for, but her actions spoke louder than her words. For these reasons, RHOBH fans were not happy with Mellencamp after seasons 9 and 10, making her upcoming appearance a mistake.

At the time of Mellencamp's exit, The Daily Mail reported that a production insider said even the network had not been happy with her for a while and "considered cutting her" after season 9, making the decision to bring her back now even more baffling. Based on the fact that fans are not happy with Mellencamp and are pleased that she’s gone, this is likely a bad idea. The last thing season 11 needs is more airtime for a contestant nobody likes.

It’s unsure what Mellencamp’s RHOBH cameo will be, so viewers will just have to wait and see. It seems like it would be in her best interest to stay away from the  franchise due to all of the negative feedback she received after season 10. Whatever Mellencamp's appearance is, it’s unlikely it will change viewers’ opinions of her and her previous behavior on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
