During her podcast with Tamra Judge, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp insinuated that not all cast members of the show supported Dorit Kemsley after her robbery in 2021. Teddi joined the show in season 8 and was never quite able to make her mark among the fans. They didn't think she brought anything to the show and considered her to be one of the most boring housewives on the franchise. Fans were asking Bravo to fire her since her first season and got their wish when she was let go after RHOBH season 10. Her firing came amid a scandal involving her business, in which she was accused of encouraging women to eat around 600 calories a day while also placing them under a strict workout schedule.
Since her time off the show, Teddi has been keeping busy with her husband and her three kids. She has managed to maintain a friendship with former cast member Kyle Richards. The two can always be seen on one another's Instagram pages hanging out with each other's families. After a few seasons away from the spotlight, there are rumors swirling around that Teddi is in talks to join the cast of Celebrity Big Brother. If she joins the show, she'll be following in the footsteps of fellow former RHOBH star Brandi Glanville, who participated in the British version of the show a few years ago. On the show, she can either win the grand prize of $250,000 or a smaller prize of $25,000.
Teddi recently shaded her former co-stars by claiming not all of them were supportive of Dorit after her house was broken into. She divulged this information during a recent episode of her podcast Two T's In a Pod with former RHOC star Tamra. During the episode, Teddi mentioned it was possible that certain cast members weren't really there for Dorit at the time and that she heard these rumors from others in the cast. She stopped there, refusing to give any more information regarding who the unsupportive friend was but did mention that she isn't talking about Garcelle Beauvais when Tamra asked about her. It's possible Teddi heard these rumors from her close friend Kyle, since she's still in the cast and would know the inside scoop. She could have also gotten the information from Dorit herself, since she is also still good friends with her.
In October 2021, Dorit's home was broken into in the middle of the night while she and her kids were at home. Reports said Dorit woke up to find two men standing at the foot of her bed, with one of them pointing a gun at her. She recalled pleading with them not to harm her or her children, managing to escape the situation unharmed. The incident occurred the day after she and her children returned home from a trip to London. The whole thing lasted about 20 minutes, and the thieves left the scene with nearly all of Dorit's designer jewelry and handbags. Some fans think it is significant that the robbery occurred the same night in which Dorit confirmed she owns all the nice things she wears on the show and that none of them are borrowed.
Cameras were rolling in the days following Dorit's robbery. So there's a chance fans will be able to see who Teddi was talking about in the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It will be interesting to see how big a role this storyline will have in a season that will also feature Erika Jayne's legal drama.
