Fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will be excited to hear that the season 12 trailer has been released, and it teases a lot of explosive drama. RHOBH season 11 was so full of shocking scandals, particularly the one that surrounded Erika Girardi’s legal battles, that the cast started filming season 12 without a break between seasons as usual. It was spilled that producers wanted to catch Erika’s divorce and legal drama as it happened in real-time.

Another event RHOBH producers wanted to cover was the terrifying home invasion of Dorit Kemsley just days before season 12 filming started. Dorit was home with her children, who were sleeping at the time when armed intruders broke into her house and demanded she take them to her valuables. Dorit begged them to spare her life and she and her kids were thankfully unhurt. Just eight days after the incident, Dorit began filming RHOBH and the aftermath of her ordeal is captured in season 12.

The explosive RHOBH season 12 trailer was first announced by E! News. Along with Dorit and Erika, all the housewives from season 11 are returning, including Kyle Richards, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Garcelle Beauvais, Lisa Rinna, and Sutton Stracke. They’ll be joined by newcomer Diana Jenkins, along with friends Kathy Hilton and Garcelle’s friend Sheree Zampino. In the trailer, Diana is already seen getting into it with Sutton Stracke, who called her a “soulless person.” Diana responded coolly, “You need a new villain? Here I am.”

However, the villain of RHOBH season 12, which premieres on May 11, seems to be Erika who is seen yelling at Crystal, “You want to be on the side of the victims because you think it’s cool? What I’m telling you is, I don’ give a f*** about anybody else but me.” Garcelle, who has said that Erika needs to show more compassion to Tom's vicitms, shares her castmates shocked expressions. In another scene, Erika asks Garcelle if she’s trying to make her look bad and Garcelle responds with, “I don’t have to make you look bad. You can do that on your own.”

RHOBH season 12 is not all catfights, and there are some touching moments between the cast members. Crystal, who has shared her struggles with body dysmorphia, is crying to the group about her issues with food and tearfully says, “I want to eat a meal and like, be okay with it.” Lisa shows a vulnerable side to her when she breaks down over losing her mother Lois Rinna this past November at the age of 93. The RHOBH season 12 castmates also seem concerned with the level of Erika’s drinking this season. Lisa is shown saying, “You can take your antidepressants or you drink, you can’t do both.” With so much drama carrying over from last season, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills trailer is promising an even wilder season 12.
