Lisa Rinna from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is getting ready to launch her new line of Rinna Beauty makeup products very soon and is doing everything she can to promote this new business venture, including trashing herself.
Fans of the show first met Rinna when she made a guest appearance during RHOBH season 4. The following year, she joined the cast as a full-time cast member, along with fellow soap star, Eileen Davidson. Rinna had made quite a name for herself in the RHOBH franchise, as someone who's accountable for her mistakes, no matter how bad they are. Rinna became a fan favorite, but this year, many have turned on her. After the whole Denise Richards situation, fans are not feeling so warm towards Ms.Rinna anymore.
Rinna has been using her less-than-nice persona from RHOBH to help sell her new brand. The Rinna Beauty Instagram page is a reflection of Rinna's outspoken personality, as seen on the show. Her famous persona is being used to market the items. Rinna shared a glamour shot on her brand social media page with a caption that included one of her famous RHOBH lines, “I’m just an assh*le with Iconic Hair and Big Lips.” Rinna delivered this line during one of her confessionals in a 2019 episode, and she has repeated it multiple times on her social media platforms. She later posted another promotional picture from her brand photoshoot, showing her with tissue in front of her mouth. The tissue has a lipstick kiss mark on it. The caption reads, “Pucker up b*tch.” On her personal Lisa Rinna Instagram, Rinna let the fans into a behind-the-scenes look at her Rinna Beauty promotional shoot. She shared a video of herself posing for the cameras, wearing a long, black leather coat with brown heels and, of course, one of her new Rinna Beauty lip products. Watch the video below:
Many friends of Rinna commented on the Instagram video, showing their support for the reality star and her new business venture. Christine Quinn from Selling Sunset commented, "Can't wait!!" with several of the "raising hands" emoji. Former RHOBH star Eileen left three "lipstick kiss" emojis in honor of the new brand. Even new "friend of" housewife Kathy Hilton offered her support, with several red heart emoji. Some of her costars, including Dorit Kemsley, Erika Girardi, and newcomer Crystal Kung Minkoff, showed their support by liking the video. Even Real Housewives of New York City star Luann de Lesseps liked the video in support of Rinna.
Rinna is getting creative in order to sell her products, and that includes being a little tongue-in-cheek about her own controversial personality. This is very on-brand for a Real Housewife of Beverly Hills star who always chooses to own her big personality, rather than apologize for it.
