Lisa Rinna is being called out for seemingly displaying a lack of sympathy toward The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Lisa Vanderpump. Rinna was among the list of cast members Vanderpump's fell out with ahead of her season 9 departure. Since Vanderpump's exit, she and Rinna have continued taking jabs at each other on social media and in interviews. The two have shown it's a far shot from them ever becoming friends again.

Rinna has long been accused of not showing sympathy to Vanderpump while she mourned the loss of her late brother. Back in 2019, Rinna came under fire after she sent Vanderpump a birthday tweet that mentioned a "pill-covered cupcake." At the time, Rinna claimed she had no idea that Vanderpump's late brother, Mark Vanderpump, died by suicide. Rinna said she reached out to Vanderpump, and the restaurateur understood the tweet was a mistake. RHOBH season 12 has been following Rinna's journey after losing her mom, Lois, last November.

Now that Rinna knows what it feels like to lose a close family member, she admits that she should've shown more "empathy" to Vanderpump when she lost her brother. Reddit user CatofKipling highlighted Rinna's response during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. "If I could offer even more empathy, I would now, being in my shoes," Rinna told host Andy Cohen. Rinna revealed that prior to Mark's passing, she "didn't even know" that Vanderpump had a brother. But the RHOBH fan felt like Rinna's confession "hit a new low" by coming off as if Vanderpump was possibly "exploiting her brother's death rather than actually grieving." The critic felt like Rinna's mention of "empathy" was only a "quick save" to redeem herself to anyone who might've been offended by her seemingly harsh response.

The fan on Reddit also didn't think it was the first time Rinna had seemingly insinuated that Vanderpump "used" her brother's death as a "cop-out" from finishing her last season on RHOBH. Now with Rinna grieving over the loss of her mother, fans think she has been crediting her grief for her bad behavior. Fans called out Rinna and Kyle Richards and accused them of showing Vanderpump little to no sympathy during her tragic loss. One Redditor noted a recent flashback producers showed of Vanderpump opening up to Kyle about her brother's passing, and Kyle responded, "Yeah, well, we've all got things going on!" Fans think Vanderpump's enemies who are still on the show "refuse to own how horrible and cruel they were."

Rinna continues to come under fire for her behavior on and off the show. Many viewers have been calling for her removal or demotion. RHOBH fans want a change in the cast, and Rinna continues to make herself a target. Between her social media antics and cringe-worthy scenes on the show, Rinna is doing more than enough to keep her name in everyone's mentions. With all the criticism that she receives, that's likely what's keeping her cast on the show.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
