Fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are accusing Lisa Rinna of blackfishing after Erika Jayne posted a picture of them on her Instagram. Lisa started the show as a fan favorite but has been on a downward spiral for the past couple of seasons for the way she's been acting towards her friends. Fans first started to change their opinion of her after she failed to defend her longtime friend Denise Richards when the other women were coming after her. Not only did she not defend her, but fans also think she helped to gaslight and attack her further. Fans are confused why she grilled Denise so hard and turned on her over a potential affair but stuck by Erika's side and didn't even question her when there were criminal accusations against her.
Things started to go worse for Lisa when her own kids started publicly dissing her. Delilah and Amelia Hamlin have spoken out about their struggles with their mental health, accusing their parents of not being supportive. Around Christmastime, Delilah posted on her TikTok that her most unrealistic Christmas gift was that her parents would help her pay for therapy to get over her trauma. Prior to posting this video, Delilah revealed to her fans that she is suffering from anxiety and severe Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and accidentally overdosed on her medications meant to help. At the time, a source said her parents just wanted Delilah to be independent and start paying her way.
Fans are now accusing Lisa of blackfishing after Erika posted a photo of them on her Instagram. The hate the post received prompted Erika to change her caption for the picture. In the picture, Lisa can be seen looking much darker than usual, posing next to Erika in shimmery dresses. Erika originally captioned the photo "Donna and Jerry," referring to Lisa as Donna Summer and herself as Jerry Hall. Once the blackfishing accusations surfaced in the comments, Erika quietly changed the caption to "Cher and Jerry," this time comparing Lisa to a white performer rather than a black one. Most of the comments under the photo were bashing Lisa asking if she's decided to change her race, while another called her problematic. Another commenter pointed out that if Erika's caption was referring to Donna Summer, then Lisa is engaging in blackface, which obviously is a problem.

While most of the Instagram comments were against Lisa, there were some who were defending her and giving her the benefit of the doubt. One of her fans jokingly commented that despite Lisa's large bank account she looks like that because she got a bad spray tan. Another commenter placed the blame on Erika, saying she's the one that made it look like Lisa had blackface on because she chose to use a darker filter over Lisa. They said Lisa posted a photo on her story from the same day, and she looks much lighter in those photos. In the same comment, they threw some shade at all the housewives who use filters or excessively photoshop their pictures, calling it completely unnecessary.
It will be interesting to see how much longer Lisa will be featured on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, considering how much fans dislike her now. She prides herself on owning her wrongdoings, but fans don't think she does that very well and have been asking for her to be let go. It will be interesting to see if Bravo listens to the fans on this.
