Kyle Richards from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills celebrated her most recent birthday like a queen. The OG of the luxurious housewife franchise turned 52 on Monday, January 11. Fans never expected the former child star to be of a certain age because she does not look a day older than when she uttered her most famous words, “You’re such a f**king liar, Camille.”
The diamond-holding housewives are infamous for their extravagant birthday celebrations. Taylor Armstrong went above and beyond for her daughter Kennedy’s birthday parties during her three years on the reality show. Friend of the housewives Sutton Stracke’s birthday party was featured last season on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, while other notable birthday girls include current stars Dorit Kemsley and Erika Jayne.
Richards celebrated with a birthday dinner, and she was surrounded by her family. Her husband Mauricio Umansky and her children were there to make sure the celebration was fun for Kyle. During the festivities, a delicious-looking pink cake with colorful sprinkles was brought out, in honor of the birthday girl. The beautiful cake was displayed front and center in her daughters Alexia and Sophia’s Instagram stories, as well as Richards’ own birthday post the next day. “Happy happy birthday to the woman who gave me life, and who makes all of our lives better, sweeter, greater, easier, funnier…” posted Alexia, the housewife’s second oldest child. Sophia joined her mother in the spotlight. The brood presented her with a large white sheet cake decorated with blue and red sprinkles. “Twin flame,” posted the almost 21-year-old Sophia, adding a photo of her and Richards making kissy faces in front of lit candles. Beverly Hills superfans may know that another birthday girl exists within this circle, and that's former housewife Yolanda Hadid. The Capricorn flames bonded over their shared birthday on season three of the reality show. Both Hadid and Richards wished each other a Happy Birthday by commenting on each other’s Instagram posts.
Hadid was not the only celebrity to wish Richards well. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars (both new and old) showed the OG love, including Kemsley, Jayne, Brandi Glanville, Adrienne Maloof, Lisa Rinna, Faye Resnick, and Teddi Mellencamp-Arroyave. Richards even received an expensive flower arrangement from the show’s newest housewife, Crystal Kung Minkoff. Other celebrity friends shouting out the birthday girl included Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, RuPaul’s Drag Race Judge Carson Kressley, Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth and Real Housewives of Salt Lake City standout Meredith Marks.
The reality star certainly received an outpouring of birthday love fit for a real housewife of the highest caliber. “Thank you all for your beautiful birthday wishes” wrote the star on Instagram. “To all of you who reached out, texted, posted…Thank you! I was truly touched by your kind words”. Fans can only imagine what the star will accomplish now that she’s another year older and wiser, and they will be able to keep up with her on the next season of RHOBH. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 is expected to premiere on Bravo later this year.
