The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards reportedly broke her nose and kept it from Halloween Kills director David Gordon Green for weeks. Kyle has been a member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills franchise for over a decade and recently discussed her experience as a child actress, critics, and her return to the big screen. The Little House on The Prairie star is enthusiastic about continuing her acting career.

Kyle has been part of the world of reality TV since The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 1 aired in 2010. In season 10, the show directed some of its attention towards drama surrounding Denise Richards as well as Kyle's return to the Halloween franchise. Although Kyle has spent a significant amount of time appearing on the small screen, her work on the big screen predates her most recent film. Kyle first appeared on screen as a young child in the 1970s and has since appeared in several films and a variety of scripted television series.

When it comes to critics of her work on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle says she sometimes feels a bit overwhelmed by "all of the toxic stuff," according to the Los Angeles Times. Kyle says fans can be overly critical of her reactions to drama on the show but offers a solution to fans who may find her reactions on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to be too tame, saying, "if you're bored, you can check out my IMDb." Kyle notes that she has turned down offers to play herself in various projects, but is happy to add Halloween Kills to her resume. When asked about what she'd be willing to do for the film Kyle replied, "how far do you need me to go?" says director David Gordon Green. While Kyle admits she sometimes does not care for the hair and makeup done on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she embraced the much grittier role in Halloween Kills, fighting her way through dangerous swamp wildlife. Kyle even suffered a broken nose while filming a scene, but kept it a secret from the film's director for several weeks.

While Kyle dealt with a variety of reptiles for her most recent role, she tries to leave the snakes for scripted sets, though it can sometimes be difficult. Briefly touching on her relationship with co-star Erika Jayne, Kyle maintains that she was unaware of any legal wrongdoings that occurred until articles about them surfaced online, and says that although Erika puts up a tough exterior, she is "extremely sensitive and emotional," behind the scenes. Kyle still has The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as well as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Ultimate Girls Trip to look forward to; she is excited to do more scripted work following Halloween Kills, saying she'll "be doing this when I'm 100."

While many fans may only be familiar with Kyle's time on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she seems to be willing to put in a phenomenal amount of physical and mental energy towards her acting career. There are few things more thrilling to watch than a comeback, and Kyle's is more than an average, run-of-the-mill comeback. Kyle's passion for her role in Halloween Kills is more than evident, and her return is a refreshing gem in a project brimming with nostalgia.
