Garcelle Beauvais thinks Lisa Rinna is the most conniving housewife on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She recently sat down for an interview where she discussed her thoughts on some of her fellow cast members. She unsurprisingly did not have good things to say about Rinna.
Beauvais and Rinna did not hit things off well on RHOBH. Beauvais did not hesitate to let everyone know that she was unhappy with the way Rinna treated Denise Richards on season 10 of the show. Rinna called long-time friend Richards out for being dishonest on the show after rumors of her hooking up with former cast member Brandi Glanville started circulating. Due to the fact that Rinna had supposedly been close friends with Richards and was even the reason she came on RHOBH to begin with, Beauvais was shocked by her ability to turn on her friend of more than 20 years so quickly.
Beauvais sat down with PEOPLE TV’s Reality Check to discuss her thoughts on some of her fellow housewives on RHOBH. While she had great things to say about Kyle Richards, which leads us to believe things really are fine between them again after their falling out on season 10, she did not have pleasant things to say about Rinna. When asked who the most conniving cast member is, Beauvais said, “I would say Rinna. I’ve learned that.” She went on to say that she thinks Rinna is the cast member who is most likely to spread gossip and start drama on RHOBH for the cameras. Beauvais told PEOPLE TV’s Reality Check that Rinna started out as an actress, so she knows what she is doing.
Based on Rinna’s reputation on the show, it is likely that Beauvais is right when she says Rinna is conniving. It seems like Rinna has a pattern of doing despicable things on the show, and then when she gets called out for it, she says she just has the tendency to put her foot in her mouth and say things she shouldn’t. Her motto to “own it” doesn’t really sit well with a lot of people because it seems like she uses it as an excuse to do mean and hateful things to cast members on RHOBH, and then when fans turn on her, she claims to own her mistakes.
It will be interesting to see how Beauvais and Rinna’s friendship plays out on season 11 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. It would be great to see the two women work things out and form a friendship. However, based on Beauvais’ comments about Rinna, it is highly unlikely anything will change between them.
