The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Garcelle Beauvais provided an update on where she stands with castmate Crystal Minkoff. RHOBH season 12 is in full swing and has delivered its signature drama and glamor in equal measure. Garcelle came on the scene in season 10 as a new housewife and was initially linked to the existing cast by her friendship with Lisa Rinna and Denise Richards. After rumors swirled that Denise had been embroiled in a romantic encounter with former housewife Brandi Glanville, Lisa and Garcelle found themselves at odds over whether to believe or deny the rumors. Although they enjoyed a friendship for many years, the clash over Denise led to a falling-out between Garcelle and Lisa, which they have since tried and failed to repair.
While Garcelle and Lisa may not be as close as they once were, Garcelle happily made friends with her fellow newcomer housewives, particularly Sutton Stracke and Crystal. In RHOBH season 11, when the cast was in turmoil over Erika Girardi's personal and legal issues, it was Garcelle and Sutton who were the most willing to question Erika over her involvement. The other housewives' hesitance to call Erika out served to further draw Garcelle and Sutton together. Meanwhile, Garcelle and Crystal bonded as well over their feeling of being outsiders. Garcelle is the first Black housewife and Crystal is the first Asian American housewife on RHOBH. Unfortunately for the trio, Sutton and Crystal have not gotten along, and their tenuous friendship has been tested many times.
This season on RHOBH, Crystal and Sutton are once again on shaky ground. Crystal accused Sutton of saying something very "dark" during their argument over seeing color in the previous season. She has not, however, actually come out and revealed what it was that Sutton allegedly said, which has led to conflict among the ladies over who to believe and support. Garcelle, in particular, is torn between her two friends but appears to be siding with Sutton. In an interview with E! News, Garcelle said that "new cuts are open." She provided an update on where she stands with Crystal. "I haven't seen her," the reality star revealed regarding Crystal. "I haven't been looking for her either."
It would seem that Garcelle is at odds with Crystal and that their friendship isn't what it once was. Garcelle went on to explain why the relationship soured, noting that watching the show back led to complicated feelings. "I think in re-watching it, new feelings emerge," she said. "So it's hard because you do it, and sometimes you resolve things, and then you watch it back, and it's like, 'Oh?'" While tensions are high with Crystal, Garcelle's friendship with Sutton is still doing "great," and the two are as close as ever.
Garcelle has earned a reputation for herself among fans as someone who is never afraid to say what she thinks or ask the questions secretly on everyone's minds. She has been fearless and even ruthless in questioning Erika over her legal scandal and has not backed down over Crystal's accusations of Sutton. Fans even feel that Garcelle has replaced Lisa as the pot-stirrer of the cast. As long as Garcelle is on RHOBH, fans can be sure she will always bring it.
