The 11th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is in full swing, and the RHOBH drama is juicier than ever, with friendships fracturing and intense allegations being thrown out. However, a handful of cast members have been able to avoid letting the chaos split them apart. Throughout the past few years, the "Fox Force Five" friendship, composed of Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Lisa Rinna, Dorit Kemsley, and former cast member Teddi Mellencamp, have remained close, often staying united against whatever drama is unfolding in the larger group. Here's everything to know about this fairly new RHOBH clique.

The "Fox Force Five" clique originated in Season 9 during the cast trip to Provence, France. Kyle explained how the group became tight during an interview with Access Hollywood, "When the Malibu fires happened, Camille Grammer had to cancel, Denise Richards had to cancel, Lisa Vanderpump had stopped showing up, so it ended up that it was just Rinna, Dorit, Erika, Teddi, and myself in Provence, France, so we really formed a bond during that trip." In the following season, when rumors of Denise Richards hooking up with Brandi Glanville sent shockwaves through the group, The Fox Force Five remained intact, managing to sidestep any major blowouts.

Many speculate that The Fox Force Five friendship is a matter of convenience rather than a real authentic bond. In the past, the Beverly Hills cast, in particular, has been criticized by fans for not showing their real lives, with many believing there's a pact within the clique to not expose each other's dirty laundry. The alliance between the five women could have proven to be a nice asset, but it may become a bit tricky since this year will be a little different. One of the five is at the forefront of controversy.

RHOBH ERIKA

While the show hasn't started covering Erika's headline-grabbing divorce to lawyer Tom Girardi quite yet, with many believing that Erika herself knew about her husband's woes, fans are eager to see who does (and who doesn't) support the pop star in her ongoing legal battle. As the Erika drama continues to unfold, it appears that the Fox Force Five is choosing solidarity. The group even met up last week, with Lisa Rinna sharing a fan-made video on her Instagram dedicated to the group, captioned, "I’m not crying, you’re crying. Wow! I love this! It’s very rare to do a show like we do, and find real friendship through the good times and the bad, the highs and the lows, the ups and the downs, and the fact that I don’t like most people. love these b**ches." In her own post, Erika Jayne snapped a picture of the women making a joint pinkie promise, captioned "Bonded forever. Foxes. Don't bet us against us..."

While the Fox Force Five appears to have Erika's back, it may not be smooth sailing. A new Hulu documentary about Tom and Erika is sure to keep the controversy as a major topic of discussion. Fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will have to wait and see if the friend group is able to survive. All we know is the remainder of the season is not to be missed.
