The RHOBH star was recently in the headlines for engaging in a social media war with Instagram user Kristen Dionne, who goes by the handle philly.diva. Kristen recently reposted two images of Diana, looking completely different, with the caption, “My mind can’t comprehend that this is the same woman.” Diana defended herself by commenting that she was twenty or thirty pounds lighter in the first picture and that it looked digitally manipulated. After a few exchanges between the two women, Diana wrote, “It can’t feel good being a Black content creator.”
The following day, Diana issued a lengthy apology, but RHOBH fans weren’t buying it. Some RHOBH viewers who aren't fans of Diana explained that in Bosnia and Russia, the word “black” can be used to describe dark content matter, such as death or morbid news. However, many don’t believe that Diana confused the term as she had been living in the United States for many years. Redditor Ceybriar commented, “If I was a gambling person, I’d wager that she has spoken English more often than Bosnian over the last 30 years.” Eatmycookiencream wrote, “Girl bye you spoke English for the last 25 years.”
Diana has not been winning over RHOBH viewers since her season 12 debut. She bedazzled the other housewives with her wealth and jewels, but fans had difficulty connecting with her. Many thought Diana came across as pretentious when she claimed to not know what a shopping outlet was and always sent her team to prepare her hotel rooms to her standards. Viewers were also confused when her assistant insisted on facing a chair another way because Diana didn’t like having her back exposed. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans are doubtful that Diana will make it another season, and her latest scandal may just have cemented her departure.
