Dorit isn't the only Beverly Hills housewife who has been the subject of a devastating property crime. Kyle Richards' home she shares with husband Mauricio Umansky was burglarized in 2018. Robbers stole over $1 million in jewelry in luxury goods from Kyle's home while the Umansky family was on vacation in Aspen. Kyle was shaken up from the incident as the thieves took a number of sentimental items from her personal collection. Three men broke into Dorit's mansion in Encino around 11 p.m. on Wednesday night, Daily Mail reports. The robbers reportedly broke in through her children's classroom window. The source claims two men entered Dorit's bedroom and she was awoken by them standing at the foot of her bed. The intruders allegedly grabbed Dorit and she pleaded "Don’t hurt my babies. Don’t kill me. I'm a mother." One man reportedly responded, "Kill her."
The robbers went on to ransack Dorit and PK's home for about 20 minutes after breaking in. The thieves reportedly stole the majority of Dorit's expansive jewelry and handbag collection. The intruders did not enter the bedroom of Dorit's children, the source states. Dorit had just returned home from a trip to London where she attended her nephew's wedding. Following the robbery, Dorit reportedly contacted police and PK, who was still in London. Dorit is reportedly "traumatized" from the break-in.
As filming for RHOBH season 12 is already underway, it's unclear if Dorit will proceed with filming in the wake of the scary incident.
