Charlie Sheen has confirmed that his daughter Sami, whom he shares with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Denise Richards, is now living with him. Viewers caught a glimpse into Denise's family life during seasons 9 and 10 of the Bravo series. Denise, who would consider returning to RHOBH, was always very protective of her three daughters Sami, Lola (who she shares with Charlie), and her youngest, Eloise, who she adopted in 2011. She even called out the women during season 10 for making inappropriate remarks in the presence of her kids and their friends.
The actress left RHOBH after two seasons when a rumor began to circulate that involved her and former cast member Brandi Glanville. The rumor was that Denise and Brandi spent an intimate night together even though Denise was married to her now-husband, Aaron Phypers. Denise repeatedly denied the rumors and was angry that the women refused to believe her. She realized after the season had come to an end, her time on the show was over. In September 2020, Denise announced she was leaving RHOBH.
A representative for the actor, Jeff Ballard, confirmed to Page Six that Sami is living with her father at the moment. "Sam’s amazing. I love her and all my children unconditionally," Charlie said through his team. "We’re having a ball. GED here we come!" Even though Charlie has been through a lot in his life and career, he loves his children unconditionally. The 56-year-old has a different way of parenting his kids and feels his way may benefit Sami in the end. If his daughter wants to drop out of school and receive an education a different way, Charlie is willing to support her through it all.
In the press, Charlie, whose co-parenting with Denise was toxic, was made out to look like a dead-beat father, but now he seems to be stepping up to the plate. His statement was released days after his 17-year-old daughter shared a now-private video to TikTok accusing her mother and Aaron of shocking allegations. Sami revealed that she was "trapped in an abusive household, hated myself, would go days without eating or sleeping, insanely depressed, hated school" a year from today. She then compared her old life to her current situation as she "moved out of the hell house, had a spiritual awakening, own 2 cats, happy single, full of self love, and dropped out of high school." A source close to Denise admitted that she was "saddened" by the situation but still loves and supports her daughter. Charlie has a different way of implementing rules and doesn't agree with some of Denise's.
Charlie is ecstatic to have his daughter Sami living with him after the horrible year she allegedly had. He clearly loves his children and will do anything to keep them happy, even if that means going against their mother. Hopefully, all is right in the Sheen-Richards household as soon as possible.
