The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Yovanna Momplaisir is currently a friend of the housewives. Fans hope that she won't be upgraded to a full-time housewife. Here are some reasons why.
NeNe Leakes has always been at the forefront of most of the drama that has conspired within the show. This past season and last she tried to bring Yovanna on to the show after meeting her through her boutique. The entire season she told cameras she was a changed woman who was finding her own zen as she no longer wanted to be combative with the other women. But at the reunion, Yovanna revealed that NeNe was the woman behind Snake Gate, not her.
Bravo fans are no fan of Yvonna who is just trying to get her 15 minutes of fame via NeNe. Last season, she upset Eva Marcille by insinuating that she should have known who she was as both attended the same university. Yovanna explained she was “that b*tch” as they had the same group of friends. Many of the women were at first wary of the newcomer as she came off like a want to be and too much to handle.
This season Yovanna was invited back as a friend by NeNe so she could use her to infiltrate the inner circle. NeNe was desperate to know if Cynthia Bailey and the other women had been talking badly behind her back. When Yovanna appeared on the reunion, she revealed that she never had any recordings but instead lied to both the women and NeNe. She went on to blame NeNe for orchestrating the whole thing, but fans were not so quick to forgive as many pointed out she still lied. Bravo fans do not feel that she can be trusted, or her attitude is on par with the rest of the women. The friend comes across as a sidekick to NeNe and no one wants to deal with that type of personality.
While the reunion ended with a bang as NeNe refused to come back to her laptop to defend herself, many were left to believe Yovanna’s take on the season. There have also been rumors that Cynthia was not asked back due to her dull storyline, but nothing has been confirmed by the network. NeNe currently is undecided about a possible return and could like a bigger paycheck as well as respect from the women. One thing is for sure, viewers do not want Yovanna in as the new housewife.
