Apollo Nida finally made his return on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and offered a number of shocking reveals about his ex-wife Phaedra Parks. Fans got to see the rise and fall of Phaedra and Apollo's marriage over the course of the show. Despite the drastic difference in their personalities and lifestyle choices, the pair welcomed their two sons Dylan and Ayden and attempted to go into business together. Phaedra stood by Apollo when his name was tied up in flirty behavior with Kenya Moore. But when Apollo was taken down in a massive money fraud scheme, Phaedra cut off all ties with her husband and filed for divorce.Once Phaedra was fired in season 9, the book was closed on her and Apollo's storyline. However, fans have long wondered if Phaedra was really in the dark about Apollo's shady business dealings. Phaedra wanted Apollo to work at the funeral home business she had started, but Apollo was uninterested. Little did viewers know at the time that Apollo was accused of laundering more than $2 million through fraudulent bank accounts. Once taken down, he was sentenced to eight years, but was released in 2019 with five years of probation and supervised release.Over the years, Apollo has spoken out against Phaedra and accused her of leaving him when the going got tough. Apollo hasn't made a physical appearance on the show since his 2014 arrest. But on Sunday's episode, Sheree Whitfield had a sit-down with Apollo and gave him an opportunity to make his first return in years. The Peach Report posted a clip from Apollo's guest appearance that came with his very own confessional where he put his ex-wife on blast. Apollo told Sheree that he felt like Phaedra left him "to die" at the time she filed for divorce. He accused her of not being by his side during his case and sentencing and claimed she prevented him from seeing their two sons.
In his confessional, Apollo labeled Phaedra as "cold-blooded" and "cold-hearted" during his incarceration. A throwback clip from eight years ago showed Phaedra and Apollo arguing about his case and how upset Phaedra was about her "good name" being tarnished because of Apollo's criminal charges. Fans applauded Apollo's return and how he seemingly just wanted to make peace with his past. Viewers said he could've said a lot more about allegations that have been floating around about Phaedra's business dealings, but he didn't. Instead, Apollo just wanted viewers to know how poorly Phaedra treated him after he was caught laundering money.
Apollo's return further amps up fan request for Phaedra to return. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum has so much unfinished business on the show, viewers would be reeling in to catch up on Phaedra's life. Between her co-parenting relationship with Apollo and her huge fallout with Kandi Burruss, Phaedra has more than enough storyline to carry over a few seasons. It's also a wonder how Phaedra feels about Sheree being so friendly with her ex-husband. The shade is real, and it's always going in Phaedra's direction.
