Viewers are worried the OG of Atlanta may say goodbye to the franchise forever and the odds are looking good. After months of speculation, NeNe recently announced she is going to be given her own show on the E! network. Reality TV viewers wondered why NeNe had yet to sign The Real Housewives of Atlanta contract. She has always been at the forefront of much of the drama on the show. The entire last season, she told cameras she was a changed woman who was finding her own inner peace. She no longer wanted to be combative with the other women. Rumors have been swirling around about the peach having been fired, but she claims it just is not true.
NeNe has been lashing out at the Bravo network. Many feel there was a misstep when it came to negotiating the reality star’s compensation. Now, Tamra Judge, who recently quit The Real Housewives of Orange County herself, is speaking out on the case with a cryptic Instagram post of her own. After Dorinda Medley announced that she would be giving up her golden apple, Judge posted a cute picture of the two of them to show support. She captioned her post saying, “you will be missed icon...but it’s pretty amazing on the other side.” Judge shared her touching post with some special hashtags that included Vicki Gunvalson, LeeAnne Locken, Bethenny Frankel, Lisa Vanderpump, Medley, and Leakes. The reality star also posted that her friends were "gone but never forgotten." The ambiguous post only added fuel to the fire, since NeNe just deleted her Instagram account today. Even though NeNe's Instagram has disappeared, her Twitter is still alive and kicking. This past Thursday she tweeted a message that read, "Support Black Women, Protect Black Women! You have no idea what they’ve been thru or the WEIGHT they have carried on their backs silently for yearsssssssssss. Thank you! Bye."
Honestly, Bravo fans can't take another hit so soon. It was hard enough to let go of Vicki, Tamra, Bethenny, and now Dorinda. Bravo should know better than to try and take away NeNe from Atlanta. To many, it does not make sense, but the network may be trying to age out the OG’s in favor of fresher blood.
