Porsha Williams confirmed she won't be returning for The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 14. The reality star joined the series as a full-time housewife for season 5 in 2012 and was only demoted once to 'friend of' for season 7. Since joining the show, Porsha has always been a fan-favorite amongst RHOA viewers. Despite her feud with Kandi Burress, which ultimately led to the firing of Phaedra Parks, Porsha has remained one of the most treasured housewives.

During RHOA season 13, fans got to see Porsha as an activist marching at Black Lives Matter protests following the murder of George Floyd. Porsha was out on the front lines protesting from morning until night, even getting arrest a couple of times. Both arrests took place in Kentucky, where Breonna Taylor was murder by police in her own home. She even received the name "Porsha Luther King" after everything she did for the community. Even though Porsha, who is engaged to Simon, has brought so much to RHOA, she feels her time has come to an end.

On Thursday, Porsha announced on her Instagram that she will not be returning for RHOA season 14 after nine years on the show. The 40-year-old shared a series of her most iconic moments from the show in her post, as well as a sweet message to her fans, which was also featured in the caption. "After ten life-changing, gratifying, incredible years, it is finally time to begin my next chapter. Next season, I will not be returning to the Real Housewives of Atlanta franchise," she began her caption. "This was a difficult decision to not only make, but also come to terms with. It's one I have put a lot of thought into and because of that, I know it's the right one." Porsha, who was homeless while filming, also thanked her family at Bravo and all the fans that have supported her throughout the years.

She also acknowledged that she had been through her highest of highs and lowest of lows while on RHOA. However, the reality star did confirm that she will be back on TV very soon. Multiple news outlets confirmed in May that Porsha was offered a three-part deal with Bravo, which would focus on her activism and her family. Porsha is also one of the hosts of Bravo's Chatroom, where she hosts alongside Gizelle Bryant from The Real Housewives of Potomac. She ended the caption by reminding her fans to pick up her book, The Pursuit of Porsha, which will be available to purchase on November 16. Fellow RHOA castmate Kandi took to the comments section to express her disappointment in her departure but still wished her the best. Even reunion host Andy Cohen said he is going to consider her exit "more of a PAUSE."

Porsha is the second star of The Real Housewives of Atlanta to announced their departure this month. Cynthia Bailey announced she is leaving after 11 seasons on the show. So far, Kandi is the only housewife who has confirmed her return.
