NeNe Leakes' youngest son, Brentt, who appeared alongside her on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, shared an emotional social media post amid his father's battle with colon cancer. Earlier this week, the Real Housewives alum said in a leaked audio recording filmed at her lounge that her husband, Gregg, was losing his battle with cancer. Shortly after the recording hit the Internet, fans and some former castmates sent their well-wishes to the couple.

In June, NeNe revealed that Gregg's cancer had returned after being in remission for two years. The househusband was first diagnosed with stage three colon cancer in 2018 but went into remission after seeking treatment. Viewers saw how his diagnosis played out on TV, watching Gregg slowly beat his first cancer battle. However, NeNe, who received support from RHOA cast members, would often complain about Gregg and how he would treat her as his caregiver. Nonetheless, NeNe took the mistreatment as she understood the pain Gregg was going through.

This week, NeNe's youngest son, Brentt, shared a heartfelt message dedicated to his father in a since-expired Instagram Story that @TheShadeRoom shared on Twitter, encouraging his followers to spend time with their loved ones. "Spend time with your loved ones every chance you get," the 22-year-old wrote. "Time is so…valuable dog. I can’t express it. I’m learning the hard way watching my dad fight every day." He continued, "Please go create memories with ya people." Viewers saw some of Brentt and Gregg's relationship play out on RHOA, especially during the early seasons of the show. Overall, Brentt was a great kid, and Gregg knew what a great job he and NeNe, who might possibly return to RHOA, did with their youngest.

Following Brentt's sweet Instagram message, fans took to Twitter to show their support for him and his family. One fan wrote about how they thought Brentt was such a great kid after they met him in Georgia. Another agreed with Brentt's sentiment regarding taking time with family for granted. The fans also said they were praying for Brentt and are hoping Gregg can pull through. Brentt's message came days after NeNe announced that Gregg was "transitioning to the other side." She told her clients at her Atlanta lounge, The Linnethia, about Gregg's cancer battle after a customer complained about NeNe not wishing someone a happy birthday. NeNe, whose husband is losing his cancer battle, revealed that she didn't feel up to wishing the person a happy birthday because she was too upset thinking about her husband at home, who is slowly passing away.

Viewers saw Brentt grow up for the past decade since NeNe was on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. He loves both his parents dearly, which was made clear in the emotional message he wrote for his father, Gregg. At least Brentt and NeNe have each other to get through this difficult time.
