Viewers of The Real Housewives of Atlanta may be surprised to learn NeNe Leakes has ventured back into the dating world. The star's husband, Gregg Leakes, passed away three months ago after a long fight with colon cancer, leaving many who came to know him through NeNe shocked and saddened. The RHOA celeb has been open about her grief after Gregg's passing, even sharing some of his final words to her.
NeNe and Gregg were married for 20 years, and their relationship became a mainstay on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Without a doubt, Gregg was one of the most loved husbands in the franchise, with even Andy Cohen sharing a special bond. Though the couple went through a divorce, NeNe and Gregg did end up reconciling and remarried when she was still on the show.
NeNe revealed her new relationship while at her birthday bash, which was thrown as a surprise by her son. The mystery man showed up on her Instagram, with the former reality star tagging him and his company in her stories. Per TMZ, NeNe's new flame is Nyonisela Sioh, who owns his own couture suit company in Charlotte, North Carolina. NeNe wore a merlot-colored tracksuit, while Nyonisela donned a bright purple suit with double lapels, undoubtedly one of his tailored creations. Check out NeNe's post below:
It's hard to ignore the chemistry between the two since, in numerous images, NeNe's arms can be seen wrapped around Nyonisela tightly. The businessman looked like he was also enjoying himself as they hung out with NeNe's former co-star Porsha Williams. Even though NeNe hasn't officially revealed her new man, she did promote his business on her social media, noting he was traveling to Miami. Nyonisela is from Liberia and is friends with Cynthia Bailey's ex, Peter Thomas.
Since leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta, NeNe has been concentrating on growing her new business at The Linnethia Lounge. While NeNe has made it clear she has no desire to return to the show, viewers are hoping she changes her mind. Thanks to the success of The Real Housewives of Orange County bringing back Heather Dubrow, viewers feel it would be the perfect time to see NeNe back on their TV screens, especially if she has a new beau by her side. It could be the perfect storyline.
