Snake Gate was not the only secret that Leakes was hiding in her closet, as it has come to light that she has been reportedly been involved in an extramarital affair. The Daily Mail reported that the reality star has been inappropriate with a family friend. The outlet reported that the 52-year-old has been involved with a director named Rodney White who works at the United States Department of Agriculture. Fans knew that previously her marriage to Gregg Leakes had taken a turn as he battled cancer but believed it had gotten better. According to one source, Leakes has been friends with White for years, even before she shot to fame. The reports claim that the duo was spotted together even in the midst of her husband's near-fatal battle with colon cancer.
The duo has been spotted out and about since 2017. But even though they are friends many close to Leakes are worried that White is only in the relationship for the fame that comes from knowing Leakes. He is reportedly attracted to the luxurious lifestyle that the housewife can offer. White knew Leakes before her rise in wealth and multiple plastic surgeries. Fans were quick to recall that White posted a photo back in November from the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen studios the same exact day that Leakes also appeared on the show. The pair were last seen out together during a trip to Florida in 2019 where bystanders reported that they were all over each other and packing on the PDA.
Fans were stunned by the news, but the source also claimed that some of the housewives even knew about her affair implying Cynthia Bailey, Marlo Thompson, and Eva Marcille had all seen them together. Leakes has been seen visiting Maryland often for her boutique business as well as visits with White.
