Exploring the world of Resident Evil Village can be incredibly dangerous but also quite rewarding for players who choose to do so. Tucked into all the different nooks and crannies of this game's world are a wide array of collectible items, special attachments for the assortment of weapons, and even pieces of lore that add to the overall story. If players are smart and stay on their toes they can find many fun things to explore.
While out there though the player will come across a couple of locked cabinets that hold some fairly impressive items to use in the game. In order to open these cabinets up though the player will need to search around the nearby area in order to determine what the combination code for these might be. This guide shows players how to obtain the combinations for all of the locked safes in Resident Evil Village.
Resident Evil Village: All Locked Safe Combinations
During the course of Resident Evil Village players will find two different locked safes. One they will need to open as part of the game's main storyline and the other is a side quest of sorts that will give them a few different rewards for their trouble. Here is how the player can track down both codes and open these safes:
Workshop Safe Code - The workshop safe is the first one that players will come across and they will need to open this safe in order to progress further in the storyline. The player will come across this safe when they are trying to get to the house with the red chimney. When inside the workshop that contains this safe the player will need to look to their right to see a window that has the numbers 04 painted on it. If the player approaches and tries to look through the window though a Lycan will drop down in front of the window and attack. Dispatch this enemy and then look back through the window to see two other locations with numbers painted on them. If the player lines up the numbers they will see that it spells out the code 070408. Input this and the player can acquire the M1911 and the Jack Handle.
Luthier's Safe Code - Luthier's safe is not one that the player has to find, but it can give them a nice little boost to one of their weapons if they track it down. The first thing that the player will need to do is complete the Beneviento portion of the game and make their way back down the path leading to the village. They will come across a house on the left side of the path containing a typewriter that also holds a key that opens the door to Luthier's house back in the village. Once inside the player can find a note next to the safe that says "I will never forget her fifth birthday". The player can then look on the wall to see a birthday card with the date 27/09/17 on it. This is the code to the lock and inside the player will find an attachment to the F2 rifle as well as the Steel Hræsvelgr.
