'Resident Evil 5' Set Photo & Video: Ada Wong in Full Costume

Milla Jovovich and Ada Wong (Bingbing Li) on the set of resident evil retribution

Milla Jovovich seems to be having a good deal of fun on the Resident Evil: Retribution set - if the many tweets, photos and videos she's been posting about the fifth installment in the video game-turned-movie franchise are any indication.

Just yesterday we had a whole roundup of Resident Evil 5 photos and videos that Jovovich put out - but today we thought we had to post the latest behind-the-scenes glimpse the leading lady offered, as gives us a full look at Resident Evil fan-favorite character, Ada Wong.

Wong is of course one of several characters from the Resident Evil video games that director Paul W.S. Anderson (who is also Jovovich's husband) has been introducing in both this latest installment and its predecessor, Resident Evil: Afterlife. The fourth film gave us the original RE zombie killer, Chris Redfield (Wentworth Miller), and this latest installment will incorporate characters who first appeared in the second Resident Evil video game, namely hero cop Leon Kennedy (Johann Urb) and Wong (Bingbing Li), a mysterious character of uncertain allegiances. Of course, the plot of the film will differ from the video games - check out the vague synopsis for Resident Evil: Retribution below:

Alice (Jovovich)  fights alongside a resistance movement in the continuing battle against the Umbrella Corporation and the undead.

Pretty basic setup, admittedly, but one that will allow for the usual shoot-em-up, over-the-top action that this franchise is known for.

Now, check out Jovovich as Alice, standing alongside the fully-costumed Li, who looks every bit the part of Ada Wong:

Other characters/actors either returning or being introduced for this fifth film are Michelle Rodriguez back as Rain Ocampo; Sienna Guillory back as Jill Valentine; Shawn Roberts back as Albert Wesker; Oded Fehr back as Carlos Oliviera; and Kevin Durand as Barry Burton, another character from the early Res Evil video games being introduced into the movie universe.

Resident Evil: Retribution will be in theaters on September 14, 2012. How does Li look as Ada Wong?
