Raccoon City in the Resident Evil 3 Remake may be a post-apocalyptic disaster of ruined buildings and scattered supplies, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t collectibles to be found. There are 20 Charlie Dolls to be found and destroyed throughout the city.
Resident Evil 3 Remake, like its predecessor, takes place in Raccoon City, a place overrun with a biological threat. The player controls Jill Valentine as she uncovers the truth of the T-virus outbreak, and the conclusion of the epidemic. The game offers players a psychological thriller aspect by the stress of also being constantly chased by an unknown pursuer. Throughout all of this, players will catch glimpses of the Charlie Dolls.
Destroying these disturbingly delighted bobblehead dolls with earn players an achievement as well as an in-game record. This is perfect for both achievement hunters and fans that have been waiting to explore everything the Resident Evil 3 Remake has to offer. It should be remembered that some dolls can be missed if they are not collected before monster fights while some cannot be collected until after others.
The Locations of All Charlie Dolls in Resident Evil 3 Remake
Here is where to find all 20 Charlie Dolls in Resident Evil 3 Remake:
Subway Station
- Before following Carlos in the subway station, players should go up the stairs. At the top, by the school bus, and between two newspaper stands, is the first Charlie Doll. This is the only doll in the subway station.
Subway Control Room
- This one is hard to miss. Immediately upon entering the control room, players can find the doll creeping under the left side of the control panel.
Subway Power Station
- At the far north of the power station, players can take a left to find the next Charlie on top of a shelf.
Subway Tunnels
- After discovering the mine rounds weapon, players will be introduced to a hall full of enemies just asking to be blown away with the new toy. Players might just destroy this doll on accident in the crossfire, but if not, the doll is under a bench in a little nook to the right of the hall.
Downtown
- In the drugstore owner’s safe room, there is a door to the left of the entrance. There’s a zombie inside that needs to be dealt with, but then the player can find a doll on top of a shelf nestled beside some boxes.
- There is another doll at the downtown donut shop right behind the counts. It is on a shelf next to the microwave in the corner.
- Once the player has obtained the lockpick, they can unlock to door to Toy Uncle. This Resident Evil 3 Charlie Doll is masquerading on a shelf of action figures next to a statue of Mega Man.
New Downtown Area
- This doll can only be found after the demolition site boss fight. After venturing through the gun shop, players will enter a house. The doll will be staring from a counter immediately upon entry.
Sewers
- Toward the end of the path to the lab, players will see a grate with garbage piled in front of it. Behind the garbage and the grate is the next doll.
- After getting the battery pack, when players are heading toward the exit, they should stop about halfway up the stairs and turn around. Above the door is a light illuminating the disturbing form of the next doll.
Police Station
- Outside the police station, players will find this Charlie on the path to the courtyard, sitting on a low, decorative brick wall also hosting several plants.
- Inside the safety deposit room, the next doll can be found on the top of the shelves in the back.
Clock Tower Plaza
- This doll can be missed very easily, it’s important players look for it before their Nemesis fight in the area. There’s a green truck on the side of the plaza. The doll is on the ground next to it and a wooden trunk.
Hospital
- On the first floor, before entering the lab reception, is a gurney with a Charlie Doll atop it.
- On the roof, there is a doll on the ground to the right.
- There is a sickroom next to the nurses’ station where another doll can be found in the corner, peeking out of a trash can.
- Back to playing as Jill, the player will make their way underground. Before leaving, on the loading dock, players will find another doll on the front of a forklift.
Underground Storage
- After finding the first elevator fuse, the player will be able to slip between two shelf racks. The Charlie doll is on a shelf to the right.
The Nest (Second Floor)
- After obtaining the override key, players will want to head toward the north balcony. Through the first door, a doll will be hiding in the shadowy corner of the hall.
- There are four boxes in a small room attached to Lab 1. The last doll is in the shadows between the boxes.
With the Resident Evil franchise back on the rise from the success of its latest installments, the Resident Evil 3 remake is getting some much-needed attention from both fans and the developers. Hopefully, fans will see some new or updated franchise content soon.
