This glitch in Red Dead Redemption 2 allows players to find hidden locations on the map. This guide will show players how they can perform the Bridge Glitch. Open world titles that focus primarily on story always have closed off areas that players can't access. This can be due to the developers of the game scrapping these locations during development or preventing players from revisiting older locations since that is what the plot needs. Also, open-world games do have the tendency to be fairly glitchy in nature. Exploiting these glitches is a great way to explore the great beyond. This guide will show players how they can perform the bridge glitch in Red Dead Redemption 2.

The way the Bridge Glitch works is that players trigger it and get sent deep into the sky. From here, players can be flung into 3 different locations.

  • Mexico: This will instantly kill the player upon landing.
  • Guarma: Players will be trapped here with no way to leave but it's still fairly cool to explore.
  • Death: This is a glitch that uses a lot of gravity so it's likely players will be sent to their doom before they get it right.

This guide will show players how they can perform the Bridge Glitch and reach for the stars.

How To Perform the Bridge Glitch in Red Dead Redemption 2

There are a few things players need to do in order to perform the Bridge Glitch and this includes activating some of the cheats in the game. Players will need to turn on these cheats to properly perform the glitch.

  • Spawn War Horse
  • Clear All Bounties
  • Fortify All Bats
  • Infinite Ammo

Once they do this, players can head over to the wooden bridge near Pikes Basin in Hennigan's Stead, New Austin. Head over to the bridge with a throwing knife and aim down to the ground and hit the third or fourth plank of the bridge. This will cause the bridge to freak out and send the player high into the air. Since this is a glitch, it may take a while for the player to get it right so keep trying until your character is sent soaring.

Sometimes, the character might just go a few feet in the air. Other times, the player will be sent across the map. The chances of landing in one of the hidden locations are fairly high though. Aiming to land in Guarma is the player's best bit of hidden content. It's just a funny little glitch to help pass the time.
