The film is out so fans can head to the theater to see whether or not Maguire makes an appearance, but now fans are imagining him in other projects.

It's a rather uncanny image, but Maguire does fill the shoes and hat of a cowboy fairly well. He's probably not the best choice for Arthur Morgan if he ever gets adapted into a film or show, but it is a strange and comical piece of fan art. Some fans in the replies repurposed some of Maguire's iconic lines in the context of Red Dead Redemption 2 and it makes for a rather funny crossover.

Maguire is hardly the first prominent actor to be re-imagined in the fictional western world. In 2020, a fan imagined what it would be like if Clint Eastwood was in Red Dead Redemption 2. Given the actor is known for his time playing cowboys, he'd likely fit in pretty well with Rockstar's band of misfits. It seems unlikely Red Dead Redemption will ever get adapted onto the big or small screen as the story is already incredibly cinematic and is made special due to the agency of the player. Rockstar is also incredibly protective over its own IP, understandably, and it seems unlikely it would want to let someone else play in that sandbox on its behalf.
While a Red Dead Redemption movie is unlikely, Tobey Maguire as Arthur Morgan is probably even more unlikely. Not only does he not fit the role very well, but he's also largely staying behind the camera as a producer nowadays. Although Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man legacy carries on through skins in games like Marvel's Spider-Man, it's likely he won't be donning any cowboy hats anytime soon.
