Red Dead Redemption 2 has its first nude mod - sort of. Red Dead Redemption 2 might not support mods officially, but that hasn't stopped fans of the game, and presumably especially of Arthur Morgan, from creating the game's first nude modification, allowing people to get up close and personal on Arthur Morgan.
Red Dead Redemption 2 remains one of the most popular games in the world weeks after its initial release. The game has been praised as one of the greatest titles ever created and has survived the controversy that initially threatened to sink it, with developer Rockstar Games becoming the target of heavy criticism regarding the 100-hour work weeks the dev team was required to put in to ship the game on time. Despite people threatening to boycott the game as a result, Red Dead Redemption 2 has sold millions of copies and remains a talking point in anticipation of its eventual release on PC.

The Red Dead Redemption 2 community couldn't wait until the game arrived on the PC platform (supposedly) before it started developing a nude mod for the title. Using save editor software called "Save Wizard" for the PS4, an anonymous user has unveiled the first screenshots of a naked Arthur Morgan to MP1ST and, like it or not, the world. The hero of Red Dead Redemption 2 is shown riding horses and making campfires, all while being mostly nude. Here's a few screenshots, along with an obligatory NSFW warning:
Unfortunately for those players who were excited for the nude mod for Red Dead Redemption 2, the Save Wizard can only do so much. Rockstar Games never programmed Arthur Morgan's junk into the game's code, so stripping the cowboy bare still unintentionally censors his naughty bits, making him kind of look like a prototype Ken doll, if Ken were an outlaw cowboy in the 1800s.
The mod is also pretty inaccessible, all things considered. If fans really want to use the Save Wizard, they need to download and use the software on their PS4, which will likely turn off a great deal of the players interested in this sort of simple mod. What the earliest iteration of a nude Arthur Morgan teaches us, though, is that the nude mod for Red Dead Redemption 2 should be an indicator that the game's fan community will be a lot like those who enjoy other open world games - when Red Dead Redemption 2 does finally hit PC like it has been rumored to, we're probably going to get some wild mods in quick fashion, including a much more detailed look at all of Arthur Morgan.
